Zama Tea and Kombucha so when I'm early to my work shuttle (or miss it ) they're a great place to stop by. I always get an iced sweet chai, but they have a spicy option too. So thrilled to see they recently started using compo stable cups and paper straws!! It means a lot to me as a consumer and the staff is super friendly as well.Zama Tea and Kombucha

Fun little "secret garden" area for a quick tea or kombucha. I had a chai there although I personally didn't care for the flavor of it -- might have been the coconut syrup they used. They have other flavors so I might come back and give them another try. Nice place to hang out on a quiet afternoon.-------In respose to below...Yes, you are right. I think it was coconut sugar and not syrup. I believe it was the Matcha Latte Chai. Personally I use date sugar so maybe I'm just not used to the coconut sugar taste. I'll come back to try something else. Thanks for the positive response!

LOVE this place. Delicious tea and amazing selection with unsurpassed customer service from the owner and her employees. Kombucha on tap with many flavors to choose from and an adorable patio in which to drink it. You can also order hot or iced tea in any flavor they have for sale and someone will brew it for you to perfection. They also offer a lovely array of teapots and other tea brewing accessories. One of my favorite things about this place is the small but good selection of herbs. If you don't want to buy one of the pre-mixed teas (Good Night is a nice one), you can blend your own, buying any herb you might want for a good price by the ounce. Most of the herbs that Zama carries are ones I've never seen for sale elsewhere, including health food markets. I picked up some oat straw for anxiety, and I'm looking forward to trying it.Edit: to the response from the owner, no, I haven't been in for the past couple years because I moved away. But I'm glad you have a website!

I enjoyed the food and kombucha at the cafe. I liked the vegan turkey club and all of the kombuchas in my flight sampler. If I lived in the area, would put it in my food rotation. The base kombucha is made with a blend of tea and is very light in color as opposed to my more typical black tea base. The flavors were unique and I thought well balanced. Even the one spicy pickle flavor which I got since I like trying new things was better (if you like pickles) than I thought it would be. The staff was nice, helpful, and was able to list the ingredients of all 10 variety of kombucha flavors since the names don't always provide a full story. Besides the cafe, they also sell loose tea.

Great selection and variety of kombucha...on tap! Really comfortable and charming place to hang out. Nice patio when the days are nice, which is just about every day in California. Super healthy and tasty sandwiches. And the soups.....wow. Oh, and there's tea and all sorts of other things that are good and did I mention healthy? Zama is a must visit when you're in Old Town Tustin.

This little quaint Kombucha bar has become my favorite place. I read a magazine article recommending this 'Booch' Bar and had to go check it out. The first time I went, I asked a lot of questions and the friendly, helpful staff was able to answer them all. I drink a glass of Kombucha daily now and refill two growlers a week with their homemade Kombucha. The benefits health-wise are amazing, especially with my vegan diet. It gives me good bacteria, probiotics, and lots of energy. I love the friendly welcome and I can even order vegan soup and hummus as a snack. I highly recommend this bar as the #1 Kombucha and tea house in Orange County.

Such a friendly staff! I had some kombucha and their coconut based yogurt-which was amazing. Their kombucha tap flavors rotate, so the flavors change from time to time. Tea and food served here as well. Can’t wait to come back!I’ve come back a few times and each time has been amazing! I tried a kombucha float with vegan coconut based ice cream and it was 😋 I came for lunch and had their hummus sandwich and sat in the back patio. The patio is perfect! Lots of plants and succulents, and plenty of seats with umbrellas

Cozy little place, earthy and natural. Helpful owner and employees. VERY clean. I love their kombucha! They have a large kombucha selection, made on-site. You can get a sip, a flight or a jug. Large selection of teas, including medicinals. They have a quiet little cactus patio in the back that's happy and serene. I tried some food there today, very good humus.

The raw coconut yogurt is phenomenal; the portion is about 4oz for $6 which is a treat for me. The kombucha is refreshing and balanced... Zama offers variety with over 8 flavors on draft, all mindful and delicious! I've purchased tea blends that i drink and vaporize at home - pleased with the experiences. I'll be back and I recommend it.
