I've been visiting Colorado for four days and have been to five dispensaries. Terrapin Care has hands down been my favorite. In my experience, the quality of the cannabis doesn't change a whole lot from dispensary to dispensary, so what it comes down to for me is the service and the prices. Terrapin Care had amazing service: I had good, intelligent conversations with the guy at the door, the manager, and especially my bud tender. I didn't feel rushed or like she was trying to sell anything to me. She made suggestions but they weren't for expensive products. Also, the price was beyond right! My faith in Colorado dispensaries had been wavering. No more!

I have been going to this location since I moved here in August of 2017 and I have never been dissatisfied or treated poorly. Any issue I have is quickly taken care of and everyone that works there has a great attitude. They have great daily specials, awesome seasonal deals and a reward system that actually works. Stop in and see for yourself!

Always a good experience at terrapin. Their bud has always been bone dry in my experience but I haven't picked up flower in the last 6 months or longer so that may have changed. Still awesome people and they seem to have decent concentrates

They started a rewards system to make it worse and worse. Rather than having upper management and such decide how it was going to work before hand it has changed multiple times with what points you get ect. Leaving me to drive an hour to visit only to find out a deal or the points i recieve are different. Shame. Also they have been systematically raising prices. I questioned it once and was told the prices have stayed the same pretty much from when they opened........ha haha ha lies Now if you want mix and match with top shelf bud it say 120 instead of 99 like it was before it was raised from 89. Didnt 8ths house used to be like 15 out the door? To be honest when i was med i could buy four grams of shatter wax or sugar live, whatever. And an ounce of bud and before tax i would be at 101. After 105. I can still do this today if i go reapply for my card but thats not the aim. My ailment gone, i decided to pay taxes to improve colorado as a whole. You guys are becoming greedy and uncaring. Yeah weed cares, but you dont. I have grown before so dont feed me production cost judging by the bag appeal you are running sog with clones from a mothers. If its all in packaging; your image is nothing worth what the quality of your weed is and if you think in colorado that this will continue to slide you will increase revnue with new customers and higher prices. Im sure your margins will be higher but a lot of real people will be shopping other places that are less greedy. Especially those of us that have shopped there for over 3 years. With that being said if an established dispensary that has been doing rec from the start is just figuing out how to price their bud for profit you guys shouldnt be in the game. Its obvious to those of us that have been around a long time that youve been making money for a while. Look at all the stores. Look at Manhattan rec addition. So lower the quality of your prices you lower the quality or your customers, you lower the quality of your employees. You guys had good prices but now its honestly no better than anywhere else. And after the sour og i picked up at the aurora shop. Supposed to be top self 40 out the door and it taste like hay. Smelled fine in the store. This type of situation was never terrapin and if ownership has changed its clear I will not support them through their greed. Thank you all. Have a nice day. I liked terrapin because it was real, now i just feel like its greedy. Im out. Thanks for the bud while it lasted.

I've been coming to this place for the last year or so, and have been quite happy with the quality and prices. However, I will no longer be visiting this dispensary, as I had an overall extremely unpleasant, uncomfortable last visit. I'm not sure why you all feel compelled to yell "Wanna buy some drugs?" upon seeing clients entering, but it is what it is... My main issue was actually with how I was treated while being ID'ed; I get it, it's a college town and you're concerned about fake IDs but proceeding to bend my already slightly bent ID over and over and over (which in turn is creating an even larger crease) was excessive. When I politely asked the attendant to please not bend my ID like that (as it was *once again* already visibly slightly creased from a former bend), he told me "I've handled hundreds of IDs and I know what I'm doing here to do my job"...funny because I've been to hundreds of dispensaries including this one and have never had to sit and watch someone try and break my ID in half to "test it". Anyways by the time I made it back to purchase stuff, I was visibly perturbed I'm sure, and explained to the guy helping me why I was a little bothered by that exchange I had with my ID and the dude handling it so roughly. The current guy helping me goes on to explain "We get a lot of fakes in here" and also mentions I might wanna change my ID "because if any light can be seen through the crease, that's why it has to be denied." So after hearing that, I'm extra livid! Because what that means is that guy checking my ID (which didn't have any light coming through the crease because I'm constantly careful to make sure it's not getting bent any further) was unnecessarily bending my ID repeatedly. Whatever.There are plenty of other dispensaries and to be frank, I'd suggest y'all try some others if you're taking your time to read these reviews. My friend was waiting outside with her dog, and was excited to go in and try the products but after I explained what happened she opted to go somewhere else. It really is that easy!
