Fantastic restaurant! We stopped here after a trip to the museum. Parking can be a little tight, especially Saturday night, but keep at it, something always opens up. We parked a few yards down the street. Walked right in and sat right away. Staff was attentive and friendly. The MENU- oh my god. So many fantastic choices. So diverse, so almost anyone can find something they’ll love. They serve breakfast all day which was to my kid’s delight. They got the French toast and pancakes which I sampled and were awesome. Their green chili is delicious and the smothered burrito I got was heaven. Chips and salsa were homemade and delicious. Couldn’t find anything to complain about here. Atmosphere is fun and roomy. We definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thanks!

Feedback:

Eggs Benedict & French toast were delicious! Very good hollandaise. I substituted greens for the potatoes, which was a nice option. Service was spot on too! Server was very pleasant and accommodating. Looking forward to stopping again to try the biscuits and gravy.

Salty. The food was too salty. The atmosphere was great. The service was great. The knick knacks and things in the beautiful building were perfect. But the biscuits and gravy were not that good. The gravy was too salty and the meat in the gravy, well, I wasn't exactly sure what it was. I had a side of green chili. It had delicious green chilies and tender pork. But the small amount of it I had was too salty. My companion had huevos rancheros and she claimed also that it was too salty. I like supporting local businesses and this is no exception. I just did not like the excessive use of salt. I will still give it a try again. You should also. You'll be glad you did.

I always get the same thing when I'm there. Local hub for sure. Great drinks decent ambiance. And amazing customer service. They are good people. Can acclmadate large parties and families. Always book reservation on weekends they fill up fast during peak hours. I always do the Eggs Benedict or the french toast however the frittata is super underrated and also classic...its loud but to be expected on colfax and anyplace that has full bar.

I am not from Denver, we just found this restaurant off of google. We were very pleasantly surprised, the restaurant is decorated old fashioned. The food and service was amazing. The fries are from fresh cut potatoes.I would definitely visit again.

An excellent, comfortable diner with friendly staff, fast service, and variety of food that tastes like home cooking. The decor and music have a sort of "old school" aesthetic that adds to a quaint and cozy atmosphere. My only complaint would be the scarcity of parking, which doesn't stop me from highly recommending if you're in the area.

I had friends visiting Denver from out of town and their rental car was delayed. We were in the neighborhood on a busy Sunday and they were starving. We looked at a few neighborhood spots and Annies got us seated far more rapidly! My friends and I were glad to have chosen to eat here. I ordered a very tasty iced coffee for a reasonable price and got the Irish Benedict. Everyone around the table enjoyed their order. I would recommend Annie’s cafe for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty and affordably priced meal.

Homestyle comfort food such as chicken fried steak, burgers, and even a Monte Cristo. They serve breakfast all day, and their gravy and pancakes taste as though they're freshly made! The service was great, and the food came out quickly. There's a small parking lot available and street parking on nearby side streets.Definitely a place worth visiting again!

Feedback:

When I was a kid and this place was in the original location, it wad great and we went often. Ever since it moved to this new location, the only consistent aspect is that the food has a taste of dirt to it. Literally dirt. I'm not sure why but it isn't a good flavor. Because of the location and menu, we find ourselves there once in a while, but over the years this location hasn't been good

Great menu! Definitely want to go back to try some of their milkshakes and other desserts they had. We went for a brunch and I had avocado eggs with a side of chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were great! They also have trivia there on Tuesdays at 8 pm. Had a little free library inside. This place is pretty big, And they have a full service bar inside.
