Had an absolutely horrible experience with customer service just to order a door at the Livermore location. 6 hours on the phone and 3 hours waiting for someone to help us (there was no line). Nobody was competent and nobody even wanted to help and kept avoiding their jobs. Switched over to Pleasanton location and was more than surprised when Adrianna took a 3 week long mess and fixed it within two hours on the phone. Didn't make me call back or reroute my phone to the automated service like Livermore did. She took my number and called me personally when she got information and personally delivered the door along with Luca and one other man (forgot his name) HUGE thank you to these 3 who fixed the problem without hassle. Home Depot if you're reading this, give Adrianna a freaking raise

Every employee we flagged down (when we could - they actively try to avoid you) for help was visibly annoyed to have a question asked to them. When we finally found all items needed, the most expensive item scanned over 25% more expensive than advertised. When mentioned to cashier, they said they can "honor it if I go back and take a picture of the price" - why am I having to correct their mistake? I guarantee they didn't fix the issue either, so make sure to check your receipt so you don't get a nasty surprise. Go to Ace Hardware instead where you will be treated like a customer rather than a burden.

One of the Worst Customer Service experiences I have ever had. An Orange Apron Key Stand Worker told me to find the Orange Apron "Plumber". Really, where shall I search since there was no one around the Plumbing Section... Sadly after opening a few boxes I realized that the Toilet Seat they sold me was used. I realize it was used by not having any bolts nor manuals. Good thing I never INSTALLED the used toilet seat but now I have to spend another 35.00!

Huh! Was going to give 2 stars but reading everyone else’s praise of the staff I don’t have a negative experience with the employees to counter it. Personally I rate this spot low because 1) it’s a Home Depot (sorry guys but I’d rather support smaller local stores) and 2) I just hate driving here - this location is wretched to get in and out of, jammed away in a corner and you have to make like 5 turns and hit 2 lights, just crowded and silly to access. So there.

Like many brick and mortar stores, "oh, we carry that on line" old fashion service is gone and they helped kill it. Being able to find a clerk to get information is impossible. Oh you want to read what it says on the box, my eyes don't reach 12 feet into the top shelf to read it. Who, on line, is going to walk you through a complex situation, yep, no one.

Place is so mismanaged. The San Ramon is so much better. What is wrong with Pleasanton Home Depot? Thursday went there they closed the lumber door before 6 pm and everyone getting lumber had to go to self checker. Friday went there waited 30 minutes to get 8 2x4x10 before I gave up and left. Had whole lumber section closed at 3 pm while they restocked. I know should have gone to Lows.

Catherine jumped right in to decipher my notes and printouts to create an ideal layout. And offered ideas for sink, countertops and hardware. And Steve listened to exactly what I was looking for and offered found ideal choices. I enjoyed my time there and will recommend THD kitchen team to my family and friends. Thank you!

Had a great experience this morning in the Garden department with Gerry at Home Depot in Pleasanton. Great customer service, great customer relatability and assistance with loading the pallet cart with mulch.Great experience and would recommend working with Gerry any day of the week and will be returning at the same time to receive the same level of service in the future.

The employee Sergio from flooring I think was very very helpful and knew what he was doing and if he didn’t he made sure he found out the answer in customer service Michelle was very friendly and understanding patient as well . The experience before today at this Home Depot was horrible and I was dreading even returning but today it was much better The store employees all need more knowledge of product and location of items.
