Great place with a good location. During our time in Amsterdam we visited this place several times. We really enjoyed the our visits. The staff were friendly and helpful and served the best pints of Heineken I've ever had and I'm not normally a fan. For smokers you can smoke inside and have a beer too, something that is unheard of everywhere else we went to. They had a good food menu, although we didn't eat there. The music was varied and had something for everyone that was great especially when our group had such an eclectic taste. The only one downside were the toilets. They were really clean and well looked after, but we had to pay 50 cent each time we used them. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen paying to use a toilet in a bar or club. The sign said pay 50 cent then after that you could pay what you wanted. Then when I went for the second time they made me pay 50 cent again, because it was a Friday. I asked them where this was written and they couldn't tell me. The experience left me with a bitter taste in my mouth after all the good things it has to offer. This is the reason for me not giving it a full 5 star rating. Go there and enjoy yourselves , but talk plenty for change for the toilets.

Its so bad coffeeshop And Prix d'Ami Or Boerjongens Coffeshop is More good than this cheaper place cuz they sell nothing in real ...you only buy for the location not cuz good stuff And specially spicy cake Is expansive and havin nothing in ...i don't recommend this place to anyone before they do some change on the system And stop looking at customers as just tourists and some MONEY :(

I asked the bartender for 6 bottles of water and I was alone and he knew I was alone and he gave them to me opened and I needed to carry them to the hotel so i told him i want them closed and he said no you cant its already open he was very hostile and refused to give me 6 new ones and made me pay for 6 more to get them closed that was the worst service i have evr had to deal with in a CS in amsterdam. The place is nice and the weed is not bad, gets really crowded, it was only that staff member that ruined my whole day. thats why I'm never coming back again.

Maybe I'm just old, but it felt like a tourist trap. The "bald guy" in the other reviews cracked a joke and made me laugh. I had no issues with the place itself, if you're in the mood for loud sports bar atmosphere. The patrons were drunk and stoned juveniles, mostly. We left without ordering, and went down the street to a more quiet and more Dutch restaurant.

Very disappointing experience! Despite our best intentions for smoke and relax as tourists in a place like that, despite our expenses in the souvenir shop there was an unprofessional bald guy in the entrance so rude, the rudest guy I have ever met as a tourist! It was rainy and we stood in front of the entrance about five minutes to decide whether we should enter between the two shops (bar or coffeeshop). We didn't realize that we blocked a part of the entrance for five minutes, and as a surprise this bald old guy screamed in such a rude manner.... Disgusted of the concept and the culture of this shop if people like him work and behave in this way to the customers!

I was there a couple of weeks ago, the staff is rude and unfriendly. I was sitting with two friends in the terrace they have, we had some weed and a round of drinks.They kicked us out in a very inappropriate way because we didn't order a second round. We had not even finished the joint we were smoking plus the place was empty, so we were not making them lose any customers, I would say we were making the place look that there was people in just by staying there.I really don't recommend this place, I can't understand how their staff deal with customers this way

small, quiet and no BS. Great buds, hash and eatables. dont get a burger. get tea. Local scene/atmosphere. Do the RL and Disneyland stuff. Then, go to grey area.
