Feedback:
As an unlicensed dispensary, this place is able to provide customers with low cost products. Also, they can provide edibles and other concentrates that are difficult to acquire elsewhere. However, the products do not carry information such as THC% or CBD% and they do not seem to sell "brand name" products from licensed producers. Thus, you don't really know what you are getting. Also, you need an ACMPR card to purchase their products.
Feedback:
The staff at Farm Assists on Gottingen could be more friendly, and don’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the various strains of ‘medical marijuana’ they sell. And only once did a bud-tender use gloves when dispensing my order; that person no longer works at FA afaik. None of the other staff have ever used gloves when handling & dispensing my order. Even more alarming, the dispensary stinks of mould & mildew in the back, not good.I am / was a regular customer at Farm Assists, but I’ve had a few unpleasant experiences with the quality of product I was buying there. Last week, for example, I bought “Richards Girl Scout Cookies” from Farm Assists which, after vaping, immediately caused me to start sneezing & wheezing. My sinuses became so congested that I ended up with a pounding headache, and I could barely breathe or sleep through the night. In fact I got no sleep. The next day even my lungs were congested, coughing up phlegm, and I felt awful, came down with flu-like symptoms for a couple days. I didn’t vape or smoke anything until I began feeling better a few days later. After feeling well enough to vape again though, I decided to give Richards Girl Scout Cookies another try, in case it was something else that might’ve made me sick; but sure enough, my sinuses got completely blocked up again, after vaping the Girl Scout Cookies, and even now, i’m still coughing up phlegm. So Richards Girl Scout Cookies were a disappointment, to say the least. To be fair, I have bought some decent cannabis from Farm Assists in the past, but overall, especially after this latest episode, I cannot recommend Farm Assists to PHAs and/or patients who are seeking quality medical-grade marijuana.I’d be willing to give Farm Assists another try, but they need to clean up their act first and do better quality control. To the staff of Farm Assists, I am sincerely sorry for the negative review, I really don’t enjoy doing this, but I have to be brutally honest about my experience, because I came to your dispensary to feel better, and not get sick.---My Reply to Chris:Hi Chris, thanks for the quick followup. Let me first say, I admire & appreciate your courageous work and unwavering committment to healing patients and the cannabis community in general. Neighbourhood dispensaries / lounges like Farm Assists are ‘indispensable’, more personable than mail order via internet. I’m grateful Farm Assists exists. So re my unfavourable review, give me a few more days to fully recover from what may, or may not, have anything to do with Richards GSC. I am quite sensitive to chemicals, dust, moulds, pollens and so on… the slightest amounts will send me into sneezing fits and stuffed sinuses. I’ll report back later in the week and perhaps revise my review, if all goes well. Sound fair?Update on Sep 4 - Chris, my humble apologies about slamming Richards Girl Scout Cookies. It would seem there’s a nasty cold/flu bug going around last week and i caught it around the same time as I vaped and smoked the weed, which made my symptoms even worse of course. I attributed my stuffed sinuses soley to the weed, which likely wasn’t the case.
Feedback:
When I first ordered from The Farm Assists, I had ordered $66 worth. I had $70 and didn't have exact change, I asked the driver if he had change. To which he responded in a rude tone, "No!". I gave him the $70 dollars and decided he might be having a bad day, I wasn't bothered by it and I usually tip.The second time, I ordered $66 worth and I had 2 $50 bills on me without any change. He didn't have any change whatsoever. He was even ruder and just walked away. To which I caught up with him and told him, give me 5 minutes to go break a $50 in the nearby convenience store. He didn't want to wait, he acted like it was my fault, that I didn't have any change. He said "If you order a pizza you're supposed to have the money for it" to which I replied that if I ordered a pizza the driver would have change? He tried to pin this on me and he stated that any time I ordered that I should prepare exact change. He also complained about tipping, which I found very offending as I always tip generously sometimes too much when they don't deserve it. If I order $66 worth of Weed I don't mind chucking another $10 as a tip. But when I order $56 worth of weed and the driver arrives and tells me $66 and complains about tip on top of a $10 delivery fee that is just plain greed and dirty. Don't order delivery from this place maybe the in store staff are nice but the delivery guy makes it just not worth it. And I do not usually write reviews in general but this one encounter was very and bad i felt like people should know.
Feedback:
This store use to have good quality service and products. At my last visit the girl who served me over charged me. She also did not give me what I had asked to purchase. Being in a wheelchair I can not see what staff is doing behind the counter. I called and sent a message trying to get this delt with and no one contacted me back. I have been a client since there first location and it is sad to see that they dont mind ripping off medical patients or long time customers.

My husband came in to purchase to get medication and was told his license had expired he had just been there two days prior and was not I formed of this the staff member was rude and blunt . Said he couldn't help him. He gets this medication for chronic pain so had to go elsewhere and use more gas. The quality of the product was good but he refuses to go back because of the staff members attitude.
Feedback:
Prices were the best...Parking was the worst. Attitudes towards customers seemed to have really shifted. Felt like I was bothering them even though I was the only person waiting. Guess they are too busy getting high.Never got to make a purchase and have never been back since and don't ever plan too.
Feedback:
Need prescription. I am foreign anyway from a cannabis oppressed nation. Guy was happy to chat and show me some bits and share some truths knowing he couldn't actually get money out of me as it would be illegal. So yeah, I imagine this is a good go to store, has a privacy screen too presumably for patrons privacy and protection of minors.
Feedback:
These people don't know the laws!! Came all the way from Ottawa to visit and give them props only to be refused medicine because of an expired card! They said it would be illegal to serve me but wait.. Dispensaries are illegal so what's the difference?? The have no knowledge what so ever. Once you have an LP card whether or not it's expired it's still valid!! They know nothing!!!
