This is my all time favorite dive bar. The kind of place where if you go there a few times, the staff and owner will know your name and know what you want to drink. The drinks are extremely reasonably priced and they are not light on the pours. You can come here with a huge group and have a blast, come here with a date and have a quiet intimate time, or come alone and make friends while sitting at the bar. Basically, just come here and check it out.

LA doesn't really do dive bars, but this is the exception. Cheap drinks and a pretty friendly crowd.Fun fact: the movie Magnolia was filmed here.

Feedback:

It's a nice, old, dive bar with all the suspect and suspected cast of characters, but strong cheap drinks, that are very strong I might add, and they offer nice kareoke on Sunday where you're lucky if you get to sing Because the bartender needs to do three six minute songs in a row and the regulars get to go twice before someone else can see the Mic, even if you can really sing like myself. But it's cool..

Came here last night for my 30th!! Friend made reservations for the Bar Experiment. Basically they come up with creative, interactive, themed drinks . Ours were based on science experiments. All of them were pretty Much tasty and the bartenders were so cool and kind. I think my favorite was the sunflower infused drink that we had while playing this memory game and listening to music via headphones . See pictures. Fun night !

A true dive bar. I was actually surprised at how the diverse the crowd was here. Looking for drunk ladies singing karaoke? Foxfire's got it. Looking for a bearded hipster in plaid? Foxfire's got it. Looking for a bearded guy who looks like he works on motorcycles for a living? Foxfire's got it. Looking for unsolicited advances from other patrons? Foxfire's got it.The drinks are suuuuuper cheap, which is awesome. I actually really like this place, and would go back.

Also be careful because some of the bartenders "create" fake tabs with your name on them, even though you werent there. Avoid this place unless you like talking to drunks who want to bum cigarettes off of you, and then steal your seat.

Decent dive bar in the area with karaoke night and few other themes during the week, The night I visited there was mostly an older crowd and the music was playing loud and rocking to a nice fun grove. Beer selection is very nice, and friendly service. You can sit either at the long bar or there are a few tables against the opposite wall from the bar where you can sit with a group as well but its often busy and you might be better off siting at the bar. overall I enjoy coming here and the environment of relax and calm forgetting the outside world

Feedback:

Jody is the best gal, and yes a great bartender. She makes the best dirty vodka martinis. She's genuine, fast, smart, sweet and she makes THE best tamales (chicken or cheese, both equally delicious) which she brings mostly once a month. They're so good regulars know to stop by and get em while you can. This is the coolest classic dive bar, dimly lit, friendly, just good folks and great prices, darts, and tons of TV screens. Clean bathrooms, easy access now that construction is over finally. Pull in back to park behind so that the front is actually the back. You park in the rear and enter in backdoor. However their front door, entrance, and sign is so cool, like a retro Hollywood sign with Bogart leaning on the wall wearing a fedora while smoking a cigarette. All the staff is great, good people all around and yes, equally great drinks, whatever your poison is. This place is special and yes, VERY film-friendly for those who, like my boyfriend, asked to shoot a photography project there after hours. Even the bar counter is classic, thick polished wood, like they don't make anymore it seems.

Feedback:

The regulars and Wayne, the bartender, made an otherwise dull Friday night at a dive bar in The Valley a pretty jolly one.I rolled in at 6 and didn't leave until after midnight. Darts were the main attraction, other than alcohol, which is the obvious one. Top it off with a cast of colorful characters, and there's nothing more entertaining!Gets packed towards the later hours, Karaoke on Wed/Sun, and they take cards!
