I don't write reviews, but I was compelled to for this place. Clue #1 you should go. It's straight up the best dispensary in Hood River IMO. I've been to quite a few across the legal states, and this is still by far my favorite. I always come back here and recommend it to friends for the following reasons:1. Atmosphere. It's warm, cozy, and clean. If it's your first time at a dispensary and you might be nervous or anxious, I highly recommend this one for its vibe. It doesn't feel like you've walked into a Nike showroom like some of the larger dispensaries, all big and cold with the glass and steel and brilliant lights, no no no. It's like the cute country bed'n'breakfast of dispensaries. If you know what you want, you can be in and out in seconds, or if you want to take the time to browse their huge selection to the soothing sounds of Radio Paradise and a perfect thermostat temp, there's no rush. 2. Service. The workers there are helpful without being the slightest bit overbearing. They're not trying to get people in and out quick to push profit, they're dedicated to making sure you leave happy with your purchase, even if it means wafting every jar on display or reading package fine print. I like the pre-filled THC concentrate cartridges, and if you're like me you know they occasionally fail for whatever reason. In previous years that would mean $20, $40ish wasted, but when describing the problem to the staff they took a look at my cartridge, determined it was indeed faulty, and replaced it with a fresh one at no cost. I was floored by that level of service, and it cinched my business with them as long as I'm in Hood River.3. Selection. Good lord for such a small place they have a wide selection. The counter begins with a good selection of glassware. Nothing garishly enormous, but everything from single-hitters to medium size water pipes. This gradually transitions from dry herb tools and vaporizers/batteries to various concentrates, herb, and distillates, before the extensive edible and pre-rolled joint packs near the register. For every method of ingestion, they got strains in indica, sativa, and hybrid so you can be assured you'll find SOMETHING that works for you. - IN CONCLUSION -If it's your first time or you're a veteran and you're in the area, you really should check out the Gorge Green Cross. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely awesome shop! They had a great selection of flower, the bud tenders were very knowledgeable and just an all around awesome atmosphere! Definitely worth the stop! P.S. Sorry it took forever for me to do this in the store!

I love The Gorge Green Cross because not only do they always have a spectacular line-up of top shelf and affordable options but they also take the time to educate and connect with patients!Their homey decor, friendly staff, and dedication to customer service makes The Green Cross is my favorite destination for cannabis in the Columbia Gorge!

I have had the pleasure of visiting Gorge Green Cross on several occasions. People are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is clean and had the feeling of a home rather than store. They have a range of healthy clone strains available for purchase including some of the most popular. My experience is that clones are not that easy to find. The also have a variety of high quality bud at an average of $8 a gram compared to over $30 a gram when I visited Margie's in Lyle. They have edibles, pipes, and just about anything else you might need. Mike, one of the co-owners has been there each time I've visited. He is easy to talk with and answered questions in a well informed way. Previously, I've had to go to Portland which adds time and mileage to the cost of meds. So great to have the Gorge Green cross open!
