Disco ! No Blues here ! Home of the world's Oldest Doorperson told me had has 39 years experience as a Doorman ! I Enter in back door pay called and prior to arrival to ask about ESA management told me sure ur dog may be the pages cover walked thru went out front for a smoke try to reenter was toldDoorsperson tells me I can not enter with dog I I said I just paid in the rearloo entrance stars telling me never I enteredso called Blues joint while Doorman was holding doors 39 years ago I was Serving My Country ! I don't why u call your club a Blues Bar ! Only thing missing there is a Discoball & Circus music ! So when people ask me where is a good place for BLUES ! I tell them that one bar on Mich Ave used used too

Bartender Dane, older black guy, was rude to both my girl and I. He over charged us on food and drinks. Then immediately copped an attitude when we asked a question about the bill and snatched the receipt out of my girls hand. Horrible service from him. The female wait staff was nice, as well as the bar back. However, Dane needs to retire from the service industry. Hes not fit for public interaction. He kept asking us to cash out even though we were dancing, having a good time and continuing to drink. He had my credit card so there was no need to worry about us dipping out on the bill. There were only 5 or 6 other people in the entire place and half of those were djs. We felt unwelcomed by him to say the least.

My husband and I came here to grab a quick drink before last call. They let us in and greeted us with friendly faces. The drinks were great. The staff were so sweet.We ended up locking our keys in our car and were stuck in town, (we live an hour away from lansing) they were kind and helped us as much as they could. Even coming and watching over me when I headed outside alone to called AAA.I definitely reccomend this bar. Good drinks and good people.We will be coming to this bar again. 10/10

Dane the manager is a great approachable person.. had a great time good people and good music for the most part... live stuff was all good want that. but electronic stuff.. I won't consider it music without instruments or words? I understand that there are some people who call it music ..? Not for me but wasn't played much thankfully . Green door is a great place with good people and normally has blues gropes depends on the night shout out to mr. Party..

You leave reviews when a places leaves a lasting impression on you. I've never left a review that wasn't excellent, or really terrible. A group of friends and I went there on a Tuesday night. We didn't know it was trivia night, but we stayed anyway thinking it could be fun. Our group ordered food, and a few drinks. It was slammed, so we felt really bad for the servers, but after 2 hours, or food wasn't even cooked. Very few orders came out in the entire place over the course of those 2 hours. We ordered tacos. I could make taco's in my sleep, in minutes. No apology, no comped drinks, nothing. So, we ended up leaving there to go eat McDonalds, because it was close by, and fast. I will never, ever even consider going there again.

So we went here to meet some friends on s whim. If I could give this place less stars I would, the waitstaff are overwhelmed when there is barely anyone there. Once they get busy you might as well forget about getting anything. They play the music so loud that you can't hear anything. The band was late, and the food is not horrible but not much to write home about. I wouldn't go back here if they paid me to come.

This is my first feedback given on Google reviews, but it seemed necessary. I went to greendoor hoping to have a quick lunch as there was no one in the building when I got there (around 3:45), as well as use Wifi provided. I ordered a hamburger, (black and tan) medium rare. It took 25 minutes for the burger to arrive and when it did it did the burger was cooked was cooked to well done standards. To be fair the burger was not a bad quality if I wanted a well-done Burger, unfortunately not the case, most likely due to the bartender / server. The wifi that was provided by greendoor was extremely slow as well. This is my first experience here and I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years now. I've heard good things about this place and decided to give it a shot but I am extremely disappointed. It will be more than likely another two years before I visit this establishment again.

Cozy place, they have live music, when I was there the band Soultice was there. Great cover band, they do every song the cover the justice they deserve. They usually have the place jumping, with everyone dancing. The prices are great, after several drinks and two meals our bill was so low, we felt guilty. Our server, though a little preoccupied with some friends who were guests, still took good care of us, no complaints.
