This place is pretentious and overpriced. The staff is rude, the decor isn’t even that cute.We just wanted to have a quick bite at the restaurant. Upon approaching the host, we asked for a spot outsid... more

If you're reading this, chances are you're already waiting in line or thinking about getting in the line to see if it's worth the hype (it is). Do yourself a favor and check their twitter account. They update with the wait time hourly (like a Disneyland ride). If you can get off work or school, the best times to go are probably Monday-Thursday around 2pm-4pm when the line is somewhere between 30-40 minutes.

This is the staple place to go for Cuban food in little Havana! I had the best time! I will say this place can get crowded and there might be a line. But when I went there there was no line and we were seated immediately. The pollo Versailles was so good!My mother, who never eats pork, decided to order pork at this restaurant and she could not put it down. She ate every last bit which tells you how good and tender it had to be. well they were a ton of people coming in and lots of activity at the restaurant the service did not suffer from it. Our waiter was always attentive and laughed with us at our lame jokes, it was a lovely experience.

I will surely be back to your restaurant again and again! The food was very delicious! My favorite was Strawberry Ricotta Tart. It was very delicious and it is creamy and sweet. To have dinner in this place isn’t very expensive. In general, most of the dishes was very affordable. Therefore, this restaurant is good for those, who don’t have much money but want to visit a special place!`

The staff and vibe of this place are amazing! I'm glad it opened up in the middle of downtown. The indoor/outdoor space is perfect for relaxing at dinner or for drinks. The food I tasted was good, though I haven't bad anything yet that blew my mind. Great drink selection too. A solid choice for dinner!Disclaimer: I was invited to the soft opening where everything was comp'd, but this review is my honest opinion.

This place was precious. They were so incredibly accommodating and so nice that even though my budget wouldn’t allow it, I’d probably dine here every day if I could. The dishes were packed full of flavor and the portions were enough to share. We will be back!

Guaranteed we will be there for brunch if we are in LA. A little pricey but so worth it for the location, ambiance, service and the first time we ever went Larry Flynt was there! We bought him his lunch ;) Plus, they offer complimentary champagne while you wait if you didnt make a reservation but I suggest doing so on opentable. Always: stone crab, stuffed zucchini flowers, oysters.

My wife and I attended the Ivy for Sunday breakfast to celebrate her birthday. What an amazing place. We looked at menus online before we went and were aware it would be expensive. I suppose value is subjective, but I feel strongly that when you are attending a restaurant a big portion of its value comes with reputation and history. Maybe I'm paying a premium, but I knew it going in. We wanted to feel special, that we were leaving our usual lives to have a special experience. We aren't wealthy and $155.00 with tip is alot for breakfast, but the experience was worth every penny. I felt as though we were paying for more than just a meal, it was a really cool experience. We were in full fledged tourist mode, had hopes and dreams of sharing laughs with Beyonce and Jay-Z, Tom Hanks joining the convo... unfortunately wasn't to be had. I booked the reservation at 9am, we were the first people. Greeted with champagne, a "Happy Birthday". Our table was on the patio right at the road. Comfortable, and a heater was provided to ensure we were warm.I ordered the eggs benedict and my wife the crab benedict. The food was excellent. The coffee first rate. My wife's $25.00 bellini worth every cent. The service was first rate. From the host that greeted us, to the servers and the busboy. Everyone was friendly and not overbearing at all. To top it off they surprised my wife with a birthday cake (delicious) with sparkling torchy candle. In the end, I can't recommend this experience enough. I'd have loved to have the celebrity sightings and it would have been a cherry on top of what was just a great experience overall. Thanks!!

Taco John’s has better breakfast than the Ivy for 1/10th the price. Ordered an eggs/bean/tortilla chips breakfast. Came out as soggy breakfast nachos. Beet Burrata came out with beets that had not been fully cooked nor properly prepared. Also, place has a 1 entree per guest minimum - which is flat out tourist trap. “Free champagne” to start was nice until we paid $35 for the nachos. Lol. Wait staff was all very nice except server who is in a tough spot with the minimum policy. What a horrible place to put their server in. Makes him have to be the bad guy. Worst value in recent memory.

If I could give it 10 stars I would!!! This restaurant is exceptional from the ambiance to the service to the food. I enjoyed every moment of being there and can't wait to go back. They start you by serving you champagne before sitting you down. It only gets better from there; especially sitting on the front porch surrounded by colorful flowers and twinkling lights, which by the way, not one single light was out. Those little qualities. The taste and presentation of the food and dessert were marvelous. The waiters were entertaining and friendly and took wonderful care of us. Beautiful!❤
