This is a great place to bring your family and friends for good old timey american cafe food. ☕Depending on what time of day and day of the week, the busy-ness of this place is pretty steady. I've seen it packed out to the parking lot. But they move fast. 🏃🏃‍♀️There are a lot of people who have come here for decades. So you will have a nice older population as well as local law enforcement eating breakfast. It's a super awesome community vibe. The food isn't out of this world amazing but it's great nonetheless. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great for people who like large portions.Personally I like the chili verde plate as I tend not to eat to much meat. The breakfast burrito is fantastic too. I wish the salsa was a bit more on the spicy side. 🌶️🔥The price is about a 💲dollar more than most other places but it's worth it.My only complaint (because I gotta keep it balanced) is that some of the workers tend to get a little overwhelmed. And it shows. I know its not intentional but I think having adequate staffing for a busy place is highly necessary. 🙏

This were the first two times I have eaten in this restaurant. I ate there on the day before the 4th of July and the day after. I was on a little vacation with my wife and friends. The food was real family stile like mom used to make. It was American stile breakfast and lunch. The servers were friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make us all happy. Could eat there every day.

Come in and have breakfast and it will be one of the great stops of are your day. These people know breakfast, which is why they're only open till 2 in the afternoon, and their pancakes drive people crazy, my country fried steak was just perfect, and I'll be coming back for breakfast again and again, especially since my good friend lives around the corner.

As the description says "comfort food and family friendly". An Allied Gardens favorite. Its not some gourmet custom food, just genuine solid good food at affordable prices and good portions. The staff is extremely friendly and I love coming here for a good meal. A genuine good ol fashioned diner is how I would describe it. Keep it up and thank you Brothers Family!

Feedback:

Food consistently outstanding. My favorite is the Southwest chicken salad. It is a nice spicy perfectly grilled sliced chicken breast on a bed of lettuce. I substitute spinach for the lettuce. The spicy Southwest ranch dressing is so good! Staff very friendly, service excellent. Homey atmosphere. See many regulars in there.

We are new to town and decided to stop by cause we love local cafes. They were busy, 15-20 minute wait, which was ok, no biggie to wait for good food. As we waited we noticed people who came in after us were being seated before us. We checked and we were next on the list but they sat the husband or bf of an employee or managers family and a regular customer before us. A table sat open and they just kept passing us by. My husband said something to a server and finally they sat us. The guy who sat us apologized but told us they had been holding this table for someone else. For who? We were the last ones standing waiting for a table. Our money is obviously not good here so we will not be back. The family member got sat and served food before we even had anyone come to our table.Soda pop was flat, no one came back to our table until they stopped playing with the baby that the bf or family member had while he was leaving.Terrible service.Terrible experience

This was almost exactly what we were looking for after moving from Tucson! It's a solid not fancy diner that serves tasty comfort foods. One kid had the best smelling restaurant French Toast I've smelled in forever. The pancakes we're good and coffee topped up regularly. My only real disappointment was the hash browns. I like scattered and crispy and that's hard to find. We will be back regularly.

The best place to get breakfast in the Tierrasanta/San Carlos/Allied Garden area by far. The wait staff is super nice, the food is delicious, and the pricing is very reasonable. This place has a friendly family atmosphere that I usually only see at small town diners. This place can get pretty busy on weekend mornings, but the wait is never too long!

I travel for my work and this is exactly the kind of place I love to find when I am on the road. This clean, friendly neighborhood restaurant is a happy departure from the chain restaurants. Menu items are always perfectly prepared and the ingredients fresh. Many are locals who are on a first name basis with the servers and the owner, Kathy. She has a talent for making everyone feel right at home which explains the loyal following. She needs to open one of these closer to my home.
