Feedback:

I actually started in Pasadena. I took the Red Line light rail to Union Station, Downtown Los Angeles. There I transferred to the Red Line subway and got off at Universal Studios station. Total cost $1.75. It took about 1 hour. Great to travel without worrying about traffic and expensive parking. The only problem was there were homeless people sleeping on the train.

Traveling to North Hollywood RedLine Station I have been traveling here for years. Either if I'm going to Union Station or any other stops from Valley to Los Angeles or Hollywood there always a variety of stops to go too even if you go to Universal City Walk. Great memories shared as there always different walks of life you meet everyday well riding the Metro RedLine.

Still the fastest way to get from the Valley to downtown. And cheaper, you avoid parking fees. Anyone who wants to say their ride can do the quarter mile in blank, have never experienced bumper to bumper Los Angeles traffic. This is the only way to avoid that. You put $100 dollars on your Tap Card, which gets you the monthly-fare-pass. (Bare in mind each boarding is a $1.75 so you do the math, how it is cheaper to get 30 day vs the standard) And you'll be saving stacks of cash. For those of us who live within our means.

Feedback:

This is where the Red Line begins. An expansive parking lot (not free, but not downtown prices either) make this an easy jump off point for going into town. The station only serves the Red Line and only goes south, so have no fear of taking the wrong train. The station is also a major hub for busses,so leave the car at home, reduce your carbon footprint, and take the subway!

Basically your connection to the many places in Los Angeles County and other cities. From here you can catch the subway 🚉 to Downtown L.A, Hollywood, Hollywood Walk of Fame, West Hollywood, Paramount Studios, St. Jude's Children Hospital 🏥, Universal Studios Hollywood, Griffith Park 🏞, Kaiser Permanente, Koreatown, Chinatown, and much more. This is your connection line to everything, almost everything Los Angeles has to offer you.Trains are frequent, up to every 20 minutes during weekends, every 5 to 10 minutes on weekdays.

Feedback:

I always go to North Hollywood station everyday for work. Redline train is always crowded during morning and afternoon peak hours. My only complaint is that Metro doesn't hire sanitation crew to clean up dirty floor and smelly seats on some trains. Sometimes I am afraid to sit down not knowing some invisible stains or liquid spill absorbed into the seat. It could be worst, someone peed on it. With all money spent on public transportation, they should at least clean it up.
