The owners refuse to pay my friend who worked for them called him a peasant and told him to lose his number. How can you run a business and treat people like that!? I wouldn’t recommend dealing with these guys. Plus they have predator vibes when I use to work out there. Don’t recommend save your money go somewhere else where they respect you and others.

I love this workout! I like that this HIIT class let's me stay in my own sweaty space for the whole workout. I like that I am using weights for strength training. I like the structure: the intentional breathing, the warm up, the HIIT rounds, the ab work, the yoga, and intentional breathing at the end. I feel like I am getting a little bit of everything in this class. I like how James and Will try to make everyone feel welcome and how they really make you take a second to say hi to whoever is working out next to you in the class. Everyone complains that it's hard to meet people in L.A., hard to break the ice, etc. these brothers are going out of their way to try to make their gym inclusive, friendly and welcoming. I always leave this workout sweaty and feeling like I really worked out. Love it.

I have really mixed emotions about this place….1. Location isn’t ideal. The 5pm Wednesday workout is absolutely the worst to get to. I left work 4 miles away and it literally took about 45 mins to get to this place. Depending on where you are coming from I would allot a fair amount of time to getting to this area. It’s located in the heart of traffic of LA.2. Parking is free which is a plus but the parking attendant was rude and aloof. I was running late trying to enter and he held me up to make sure to emphasize that I can only take up one spot...as opposed to what? I don't know but getting there and parking already had me in a sour mood.3. Cramped! The actual workout room is very small and the class wasn’t even filled but I had to move over a couple of times to make sure I didn’t hit my neighbor. I couldn’t imagine a packed class being able to accommodate. Since its so crammed it also gets really hot and funky.4. The atmosphere isn’t really friendly. The receptionist was nice, the instructor was tolerable (he wasn’t rude or mean), but the other students in the class were just standoffish. It just creates a very cold (but really hot and funky) environment. I’ve been to workouts with strangers before but that place just has another level of just mentally vacant clientele. Maybe they are more into the instagramming and influencing than they are reality but it felt very vapid.5. The workout was good. So they really do have the potential and why it’s just OK for me. But it’s LA, there are SOOOOO many great places to work out and I look more for a sense of community and a place more engaging.Overall, I think the place has major potential for a smaller class if they stopped focusing on their social media appearance and more on building a community of like-minded psychos (in REAL life). If someone is dealing with the traffic and the rude parking attendant and the small space, they should really feel a sense of intimacy with the staff and other attendee. I mean you will be smelling butt for 50 minutes you should at least have more personable staff and breed a more community-like atmosphere.

I’m a huge fan of Psycho for combining HIIT with yoga. Most studios tend to blow thru the stretching component of a workout which I find frustrating because proper stretching is absolutely essential and a non-negotiable part of a workout. So props to Psycho for ensuring that our bodies are properly taken care of following a hard workout!
