I have been going to motion picture health care for 20 yrs. UCLA is the problem. Ever since they took over the place has a factory production line mentality. There are some bright young doctors at Toluca Lake but they are under the thumb of a financial comatose one size fits all institutionalized doctrine forced on members by UCLA. My benefits have declined and I contribute a ton of work hour dollars towards the system. It's a shame.

This is an excellent facility. Underground parking and some available on street. A dozen or more doctors to choose from. Lab and radiology also right there in the building. Some doctors may be better or "preferred" over others, that is often a personal choice. I have seen several there and have had my primary doctor there for over 10 years. Sure, sometimes there is a wait at the lab but where doesn't that happen? When there is a wait, it's usually not more than 5 or 10 minutes at the most. Radiology has about a 5 minute wait. The biggest wait is normally for the doctors themselves yet it usually just 5-10 minutes. For everything they offer all in one spot - it's fantastic. They also have a portal where you can send your doctor messages and get answers. Highly recommend.

Went to this clinic today with my husband as he had a rash on his back and chest. We did not have an appointment but the front office staff was nice enough to squeeze my husband in. Expectedly, we did have a wait but everyone was super friendly and professional from the front office to the back office, including the Doctor. Highly recommend this facility! Wish I could name everyone personally, unfortunately did not get their names... appreciate everything they did today!

NEXT on the production line. It takes longer to make a Subway sandwich than the amount of time you’ll actually spend with a doctor. 45 minutes in their waiting area to spend 3 minutes face to face with a doctor. Three doctor visits in one month before I finally decided to see my out of network primary care physician. I pay more but I also ended up with a doctor who knows me and my history and takes time to talk to me like my health matters.

As other reviews have indicated, this place as gone hill. It has gone from a caring facility where they knew you, to “now serving patient 97”. It’s fast food Medical now. Went in for a visit with a new Doctor, where never bothered to look at my digital history and spent less than 5 mins performing my annual physical. I have very little faith in the new place and might even go out of pocket just to ensure I actually receive quality preventative care.

"WOW", I had not been back to the Motion Picture Toluca Lake Health Care Center for a couple of years and what a difference since UCLA took over, everyone was super friendly and efficient, the offices were actually cleaner and looked more professional then before, I saw Dr. Terribilini who actually listened to my concerns and spent longer in consultation making useful recommendations then had any other physician in all of the previous visits to this clinic, highly recommended and glad to see the changes, keep it up.

Had 5 appointments for an IUD. Each appointment they explained a different reason why I couldn't have it. Never got it. If I'd gone to Planned Parenthood, I could get one. Isn't planned parenthood for people who don't have insurance? Then the last time I was in to get a referral to a therapist, Weissman tried to have me involuntarily commited to a psychiatric center for indeterminate amount of time. I would call this an abuse of power. Maybe he just wanted me to have a lobotomy and not safe birth control.

By far the worst motion picture television fund hospital to go to I had to ask for an ice pack I'd ask for my finger to get rapped I'd ask for a splint for my finger I was 5 min late to appt and they made me wait and extra 1 he cause they said I was 15 min late while I am in pain. THE WORST THE WORST. I would rather driver 30 miles more to Santa Clarita MPTF Hospital

I took my son in to have his arm checked for a possible fracture. The doctor briefly checked him then sent us on our way for an x-ray; not advising on reducing activity, avoiding certain movements, etc. After the x-ray they didn't advise on when the results would be ready. I had to ask the front desk in which she said it could take up to 24hrs for me to be notified with the results.24hrs later I didnt get a call so I called in. I spoke to someone who told me the results were in, they just have to have the doctor sign off and call me. Several hours later still no call. I call back and was told the same, that the results were in but now I was told the doctor my son saw was a "fill in" so they will have a different doctor call but at this point the facility was closed.I now have to wait until the following day just for results! Very frustrating, especially with the lack of advice as to what my son should or shouldn't be doing with his arm in the meantime.
