I mentioned that none of their precautions were actually effective for social distancing etc. And was greeted with an attitude, grunts and sighs because I asked if i could see the jar before purchasing. They're overpriced for the stem and seed filled broken down buds they push. I was told no very rudely, so I just picked one and paid. Then after paying and waiting for my bud a woman that was sitting smoking a cigarette next to their outside 'booth' told me I didn't have to come back and started trying to go back and forth with me. I'd already decided I wouldn't be back, but to be told that simply for caring about social distancing is ridiculous and bad customer service. Definitely Not top shelf Anything.

Un Professional: 20 years ago when sellers had absolute advantages you could get away without caring about the individual customer... now that it is legal... please keep to your set hours; or you know, change them.Now that their business is real, customer service really matters.

Really disappointed because this place used to be my favorite dispensary. They had the best choices, the best prices and their workers were super friendly. The workers are still great and they’re super helpful when you have any questions. However their prices are ridiculous! it is one of the most expensive dispensaries I now go to (and I only go here when my other Dispensary isn’t open). Their selection is also not what it used to be. You’re going to be paying six dollars a gram for a flower that’s under 20%. I can get that at a different dispensary for three dollars a gram. Wish you guys were the same place you were a year ago!

MOLDI’ve been buying weed from this shop for about a year and I’ve always felt the quality was okay at best but in the past couple months the price had gone up for worse weed. The last strain I bought that was suggested to me by the staff was half black when I opened the bottle at home. The staff was always friendly but I refuse to buy overpriced moldy weed.

I have come to top shelf for some time now. Generally it's ok. The flower is great and at a good price, however all there other product is waaaaay over priced compared to most other shops. There customer service is pretty mediocre at best, I went in today and there was only one customer and 3 tenders not one of then said hello and the first thing they said was can I see your id... the rest of the time they were more interested in each other and how the back end apparently doesn't help enough. With service like that I'd stay in the back too.

If you want weed, this is a good place to go because they always have it in mass quantities at fair prices.But they should call this place Top Shelf Oil, since that's all they have left after their dozen or so employees use their employee discount on the low-end stuff. I've heard them brag on multiple occasions about doing full gram dabs of the cheap stuff I go there for, while also being told that they don't have it in stock 9 out of 10 times I go in. I understand cheap oil is popular and tends to go quickly, but a business should prioritize having product in stock for its customers over having stoned employees who take too long to ring up customers.

ive Been going here from the start and it’s always had great prices and quality, however you better have time to waist if you go to top shelf. The lines can get terrible but much more frustrating than that the bud tenders consistently spend an extra 3 to 5 minutes talking and telling non related stories. It’s visibly and sometimes verbally made clear from the customers in line that they need to pick up the pace.

Went in today to check out some 420 specials. Was "helped" buy some tall black lady with serious attitude. Was not allowed to see the product before purchase because they were "too busy" with 5 people in the store. Then asked about an edible deal they had advertised on one of their 20 signs in the store as 50% off. The lady looked at me like I just spoke Mongolian to her, as if she couldn't possibly be bothered to know her own stores specials that day and I as a customer was inconveniencing her. I had to point out on the paper to her what I was talking about just for her to give me more attitude and walk away. Last time I come to this shwag shack. I'm from out of state. What is wrong with you people as business owners hiring someone who acts like this??? I forgot, you are the only dispensary in Oregon aren't you? No wait you will be put out business soon for shoddy service because there is way better competition then whatever you are peddling.

Updated my review to five stars since they got rid of the “express lane” they are so much faster now ! 🤗🤗🤗Good bud but seriously the way they have their lines set up is messed up. It should always be a first come first serve basis. People who want to spend more money have to wait in a longer line. Which on average takes about 45 minutes to get through. But if you wanna spend ten bucks then you’ll be in and out in a jiffy. So much wrong with that!Please stop this stupid “express lane” it’s seriously not customer friendly at all unless you want a gram. Make everyone wait in one line and everyone will be happy. It’s not fair they get in and out when I want to buy a good amount of weed. I’m not gonna ever gonin and buy just a gram and if I were to I should wait in line like EVERYONE else.

This dispensary is progressing! They now consistently have flower from some of Oregon’s top producers for unreal price points compared to other dispensaries in Portland. This establishment goes through a lot of flower weekly -(prob 50 - 100 lbs- ez) - they are constantly busy and to be expected for their offerings. Mario, one of the budtenders is top tier (very knowledgeable) -just ask him what’s good out of the 40+ strains available, and you will not be disappointed.
