I've had a membership for maybe 6 months now. I love the classes, lots of options and fun instructors. If anything, I'd like to see improvement on their cleanliness and sanitation. Some days I get to the gym at 4:30am, the cardio machines are dirty, you can see the dried sweat on them, and trash in the cup holders. I don't see cleaning going on very much, oncee when I was working out at 6pm (don't know why you'd have people cleaning machines at that time). Also, I know you should bring your own towels to wipe down, but some people don't and I don't see many paper towel dispensers and sanitizers throughout to promote more cleanliness.

I have a great experience so far, and I work in customer service myself so I have high standards. Jake, Adam and Gage all made me feel comfortable from the start. The club is clean and convenient although parking can be tough. I wasn’t thrilled about a guy for a trainer but Gage is grand, working with me and my individual challenges. I look forward to reaching my goals with his help.

Good place for a quick workout but the machines need an upgrade soon.I have to edit my review, the place it's clean, it still needs updates but over all the facilities are in good shape, now the staff...... Jesus these guys think they are a gift from the Gods, I was just getting a spot to do a quick warm up 60 secs that's it, this trainer told me your cannot do it here because I have session, mind you I was doing it in the opposite corner from where she was. Ok fine then I move into the studio, a class for spinning started with 3 people only, yes only 3 for the whole studio that can pack easily 40 or more bikes, again I went to the corner and I wasn't the only one there, there comes the trainer, there a class and you guys have to get out, really ? You have 3 people in the entire studio, but we had to get out, I been in other locations never had this problem, only because it's close to work I come here otherwise, Forget this place

This LA Fitness branch is ok. The restroom could use a deep cleaning, but could look worse than what it really is because it's a bit outdated. Cool layout & fairly big, however. A HUGE con is NO WIFI

Smells bad, women's restroom is always messy, the sauna smells like some weird product but I think that's mostly the members using something. It's small and not enough room to do workouts when the studio is in use. The equipment is significantly old and tattered. I just moved to the area and have tried to get used to the structure of this particular gym but I can't. The smell and overcrowding is so depressing. I'll be checking out fountain valley and if not, cancelling my membership to a cleaner and spacious gym. I came from the Rancho Cucamonga gym and it was perfect. This one is really disappointing for my standards. If you just go for the machines and weights it'll do but I got spoiled with my last gym. Cleanliness matters more to me.

I really enjoy Pilates at the club. However, the women’s locker room is usually disgusting - old stained toilets, dirty wet floors, door to women’s sauna does not close properly, generally old and dingy. I go to the gym to be inspired to work out and feel good. This place is depressing. If it were not for the pilates, I would quit. Toured other locations and some are much better. What’s their excuse?

Music sometimes loud tennis channel is not always available when should be when I requested numerous times cleaning can be much much better they need to sanitize more often the locker rooms and dry clean and sanitize the seats right by the locker the carpeted seats and I need to fix the parking lot lights that I requested numerous times getting back to six months to a year ago

This is my home gym. It's never too crowded first thing in the morning and it has everything that I need. Most of the regulars are friendly, helpful, and clean up after themselves.It would be nice if they had more power racks and fewer of these half-squat-racks, but I can't complain.The tall ceilings keep the place cool even when it is packed. The gym was renovated about a year ago. Looks good.

If you like or need to swim for exercise, L.A. Fitness is not the place for you. They sold out all the prime exercise hours out to a swim school. First of all this is a club for adults. Second, the hours blocked out are fro after work to bed time. When asked if this is temporary, I was "Get used to it". I also asked for a refund for my membership and was told I could still use the rest of the facility. # U LA FITNESS.

This is an OK facility if you don't mind having to constantly search for weights and equipment that's not been returned to where it belongs. Additionally, I've seen cleaner, better smelling bathrooms at a gas station. How difficult could it be to mop the floors on a regular basis and wipe off the counters so they don't drink like stagnant waste water. The floors are ALWAYS wet and slippery. This is a negligence lawsuit waiting to happen.
