The sandwiches here are really good, but this is the 3rd time we have come by here after work to get some sandwiches and found this place closed between 45 minutes to an hour before they post that they close. We use to come here all the time when we went to Central years ago. It really is a great place to eat, but if it’s any later than 4pm or so during the week I’d say skip it, or at least call ahead. The last 3 times I’ve made the drive I’ve gotten to the door to see it locked with the lights off. Unfortunately a disappointing experience at a place I really do like to eat.

If you are in New Britain for any reason, eat here. The nicest people in the world work here. The best food in the area and super crazy fast lightning service. Sorry, for you impatient nancies, there is most likely always a line; but don't worry, the pain never lasts too long. The menu is full of excellent choices and the best names I've ever read. Personal favorite is on their secret menu and it is called the Ron Swanson. Eat here so you can go to heaven.

The Underground Deli is a magical place. The food and the service are impeccable. Every meal I've had here has been outstanding, some of my favorites include the breakfast wraps, the stoopish, and the not pulled pork. The cajun pasta and spicy potato salad are out of this world good! And the staff couldn't be nicer, I always feel happier after leaving the Underground. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Went in there and was welcomed immediately. The atmosphere is great and the people there are amazing as they are the ones tat make it happen. There's retro gaming, smash, drawing on the walls and leaving your mark on the place. Sandwiches have their own personalities and the sides are great. Would recommend this to anyone that passes by!
