Visited this dispensary my first day in Washington, which was open late thankfully, to pick up some cannabis to help with pain after sitting on a 6-hour long flight. The quality, quantity and price for what I selected was very affordable. Especially when comparing to my state of residence over on the East Coast.What I purchased lasted me the entire week I was in Washington, and would have lasted me another week as well. Unfortunately, I flushed what was left as I wasn’t able to take it with me. I don’t like wasting cannabis, but it had to be done.All in all, it was a friendly atmosphere with a huge selection to choose from. Not to forget the great deals they offer. Even better deals when you get there at the right time.They also honor Veteran discounts!My only concern initially was that the area at night felt a bit sketchy. However, that’s perhaps due to me not being from the area and seeing large groups just hanging out nearby that night.If I’m ever in the area again, this is the place that I’ll go to. The staff I dealt with were friendly, welcoming and professional.

Me and the guy that works at my neighborhood dispensary both have a big Polo collection that we’re always wearing from, and we always compliment eachother’s outfits at the front door. That guy is a legend, I love coming in everyday. Also as much as I love Polo guy, I’m still gonna have to give this a 4-star review because the starting prices for certain quantities of weed is high, and the quality is often more mid to reggie unless you work your way up the price range for higher quality which is still more expensive than other dispensaries. Basically, stick to eighths at most, or under. The quality is worth the price in my opinion. Wax has normal prices like elsewhere. They also don’t incentivize your loyalty anymore, which is a bummer because I’m an everyday customer (and every single one of you that is in that store is freaking awesome and I wish I could give you all $20 every time I come in), but they still have daily happy hours and quantity based discounts on certain days, which I feel makes up for it for the most part considering other dispensary deals are arbitrary, and far and few between. Overall, amazing staff, you’re never in there for more than five minutes usually, reliable store, moderate selection. 8/10

Good place to grab cannabis goods in Tacoma. As its conveniently placed at the fdon't of downtown or near the transit stations. (Bus and train)Friendly people ;)

I would give 5 but its location is sketchy.They sell pot, at great prices, 5$ less usually then most. Small selection, great selection.Security dudes are awesome they make sure you feel safe. So super awesome guys. Bud tenders are the bomb, they don't push product, they explain their experience, and are super cool.

This is my favorite spot out of all the one's in this city Tacoma, Washington. I love this place, they are kind to me anytime I come here. I just had 5 tumors removed from my bottom foot, and they new exactly what would help me. Plus everyone that works there, once they get to know you, that's awesome because it's better than going to the pharmacy or doctors for pain medications, they get to know you, that's very good business. Besides, I am single and nothing like going and getting what I need, and in the process, looking at hot guys, and yes, for you guys, pretty ladies work there to, win, win, why not, just saying.The prices are awesome!!!

Pot shops are everywhere, this one just happened to be close to downtown Tacoma... Selection was less than I'm used to and prices were too high. Service was nothing extraordinary, honestly I can't even remember the faces of those working here. If you need a joint or something on the quick then stop by and feel disappointed when you leave, otherwise I'd check out some of the other shops...

Just bought an OZ. 3-18-2019 2pm, Spent 200$ ish. Waiting on the couch because there's drug addicts and homeless loitering out front. Door guy kicks me out because "he would have to let everyone". No homeless drug addicts are going to be waiting for Uber after spending 200$ here. This door guy sucks what a big idiot, never coming back. Other employees tending bud are always great. So I stood out front and got asked for change by the homeless. Thanks door guy! Go to a safer place skip this bud shop. Imagine if it was night time. Amazing.

Downtown Tacoma’s Urban Bud is my go-to cannabis store. They have an extensive, heavily rotating selection from local purveyors they’re not afraid to share feedback with.Prices are downright reasonable, and utilizing the daily deals yields even more savings.While all the staff I have encountered during my weekly visits have been knowledgeable and honest about their exposure to and preference of each product, I have to admit I time my weekly visits to the schedule of one particular budtender: Yuko.Yuko is a throwback to the medical cannabis collective garden specialist in the very best of ways. She can absolutely point you in the right direction if you would like to just get blitzed on some nice heavy bong rips, but she can also dial-in which topicals you should try for which kind of tension, which edibles provide a functional high and great taste; and after the first few visits, she was setting aside concentrates in my preferred taste and texture for my inevitable weekly visit.I appreciate the range of open hours, the cleanliness of the store, the security at the door, and the friendly professionalism of the entire staff.It’s no fluke, though, when I am at the front of the line and offer the person behind me the next open spot at the counter and someone in line says, “You’re waiting for Yuko too?”

I have been going to Urban Bud back when they first opened and had a different name. To be honest, my first trips were unsatisfying. A couple ongoing problems drove me to try other places for about 6 to 8 months and I learned a few things in that time. 1st off, when I went back, the "ongoing problems" that I was having were no longer there which was a major plus. But the biggest thing I learned from going to other places is Urban Bud is by far the best overall cannabis shop in this area of Tacoma. The ratio of low prices too good weed is on point. They have daily deals that allow you stretch your dollar way further then you would expect. They have loyalty program which offers you deals. The staff is cool and friendly and always helpful in explaining product not familiar too you. Very good place to go.
