Very good place! This is where you want to come if you want to see the old and friendly Madrid. Personnel is very good. Nice and heartwarming food. I can really recommend the daily menu. Good and price worthy. Decoration is wonderful. People are authentic. This is not a tourist spot. Want to live and eat the real Madrid, this is where you have to come to. I'm very happy to have come here.

We had the best time here! You need to book in advance or be prepared to wait because it is so good that it gets super crowded. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious (we got bread, potato salad, croquetas, paella and fabada asturiana) and the prices very cheap compared to other central reataurants! The decoration of the place is very nice, different than usual, and the music is very Spanish and fun!

An excellent option of tradicional Spanish food. In this place you can find the most classic Spanish fishes such as Paella, Cocido, Fabada, Rabo, Tortilla española, and all dishes of the tradicional Spanish Gastronomic.Centrally ubication near Santa Ana square, excellent service and nice enviroment.Hightly recomment.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Takes advantage of tourists. We ordered the ham croquettes, but when our check arrived it had a different ham plate listed, which was 10 more euros than our item. At first, I thought it was an honest mistake, but then I saw a 1 euro charge for bread. The server had brought us bread at the beginning of the meal like many restaurants do. I told him we didn’t ask for it, and he said did you eat it? I said yes, and he said then you pay for it. That’s when I realized he had tried to trick us with the ham entree because he knew we didn’t know the language. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best. Even if I was a local, I wouldn’t eat here because they misrepresent the wonderful Spanish culture.

Everything from the food to the drinks, the service and the place itself was perfect last night. Also very well priced considering its location. Could not have asked for anything more. Also loved the passion the man behind the bar showed when serving, i envy you. Huge thanks to one of the waiters for getting me the name of that digestive they brought at the end, which tasted like dreams.

Feedback:

They have a wonderful vibe and I was immediately made welcome. Given a tapa to start at no charge. Had a great draft beer which is what I needed. They do a great Bbq and I had a steak with French fries and salad. The steak was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium. A smaller place but loved the ambiance and good service. The prices were very reasonable .Will definitely be going back.

Feedback:

Average food and we ordered food that was beyond what we needed. The waiter did not educate us that we could order half plates. I don’t know about everyone but it was just bunch of fried food and overrated paella. We left majority of the food on the table as my daughter would not eat there. Don’t have many pics but avoid if you have kids. Just benches, so not comfortable seating as well.

Feedback:

Not bad. Menu of the day when I went was mixed seafood paella plus chicken thigh and fries plus dessert 12 Euro. I have no knowledge of Spanish food so can't say if it was legitimate or not but tasted good. Decent amount of seafood in the paella. Gave us free alcohol at the end which was surprising! Decent service, they understand English. Don't order water there though my fellow North Americans, it comes by the bottle and was 2.5 Euro!

Feedback:

I was really excited to go here because it had good reviews and was recommended by a friend. Not worth it: total tourist trap. The "paella" isn't really paella, it's rice with random stuff, and though the rice is decent, the rest is underwhelming. Their huevos rotos are super boring, especially for the price you pay. The atmosphere is fine, as is the service, but there are plenty of better options within a 5 minute walk. The only way I can imagine someone thinking it's great is if they didn't know any better or hadn't tried legitimate Spanish food.
