Seriously, you guys ROUNDED UP 41 cents from $50.59 to $51 without letting me know? Your margins are so small that you couldn't afford to ROUND DOWN to $50? You make me sick. Bad business practices.Reply to the business' reply:The fact it's always been your policy doesn't make it better, on the contrary, it just makes it a bad policy that's been there forever.I run a business too, so please don't sell me on some "it's for our customers" fib. If customers can deal with change at a donut shop or the grocery store, they can deal with change in your shop as well.If you really wanted to round prices, you could have priced items in a way that they came out as a round number after adding tax.Or if that doesn't work, just round it DOWN every single time, even if it means you lose a few pennies. Now THAT would really mean "for your customers".As for the LINX or whatever other system, I don't need or want to jump through hoops in order to pay the amount listed in the receipt, let alone pay any "processing fees" (if applicable) for any transaction.Please stop trying to pass your cost of doing business to your consumers. Why don't you add a dollar surcharge to cover for security expenses? Or another dollar to pay for your internet provider or cleaning services?You chose a line of business, it comes with certain expenses. Please deal with it the same way us other business owners deal with it.
