I was referred to Monica for acupuncture from my OBGYN since at 35 weeks pregnant our baby girl was breeched. After two sessions, she flipped into the correct position! I kept seeing Monica to help get my body ready for labor, which seemed super effective in shortening my overall labor time. I highly recommend Monica as she truly cares about her clients' health and wellbeing, in addition to getting positive results from her treatments.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I had to share my recent experience with Acupuncturist Monica Legatt at Seattle Acupuncture and Holistic Health. Recently, I experienced a lot of health issues - from tingling sensations in my arms and hands, cervical stenosis in my neck and shoulder and burning sensations as well as lumbar stenosis in my back resulting in numbness in my left leg and foot. Despite undergoing a series of traditional methods to get better and a whole lot of MRI’s, CT scans and blood work, traditional medicine could not provide me any significant relief. My only option was to live with it until I was ready to have surgery.I decided to turn to Acupuncture and based on Monica’s great reviews decided to begin treatment with her. The past couple of months of Acupuncture treatments have provided me significant relief and I am almost feeling like my old self. In addition, the full-on numbness in my left foot - which was getting to be a daily issue making it hard for me to walk and completely impacting my day to day activities is now down to a tingle in my left foot and I as I continue to receive treatment with Monica I know my condition will only improve. If you have tried traditional methods and drugs to regain your health and want to begin feeling better, Monica has an uncanny intuition and great skill as an acupuncturist and will be a great help you in your recovery. I am so very glad I found Monica!!

I’ve seen Monica off and on for about 10 years, and I can tell you she is unceremoniously awesome. She gets right to business, carefully listens, thoroughly assesses and makes an action plan that works. I love that she tells you what she’s doing and why. And I love that I can talk to her about anything – emotional, physical, hormonal – over the years, I’ve known I can bring her anything and we address it together. Most recently my doctor and I decided I no longer needed a small dose SSRI I had been taking- but withdrawals are notoriously brutal. My first call was to Monica --- and I am so glad. It was hard, but the relief of acupuncture was tangible. 3-4 treatments and I feel like myself again. Monica is gifted, unassuming, and kind. I am so grateful.

I started seeing Monica weekly for help regulating my cycle and improving fertility. We’d been trying to conceive for almost a year. Within one cycle, I stopped spotting. Within two cycles, I was pregnant! I'm continuing treatment for pregnancy support--which has been so effective for treating fatigue. Monica is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Each session she listens to what’s going on, then explains what she is doing and why. I'm so appreciative of her expertise.

Monica is simply the best. I have been seeing Monica weekly since November and she has improved the way my body functions both physically and emotionally. Monica is extremely knowledgeable in acupuncture and never ceases to amaze me in explanations of how our bodies work, and the ways that acupuncture can benifit. I experienced severe back and leg pain for three years before seeing Monica. After the first session with Monica, I was 90% pain free and honestly in complete shock. Monica has been amazing. After being diagnosed with Bell's Palsy, my doctors failed to take me seriously so I turned to a Facebook support group who recommend I try out acupuncture. Monica happened to be the 1st person recommended and I am glad I found her.I emailed her late on a Saturday after my hospital visit and she responded very quickly. She took me seriously and treats me like a human being. The pain I was experiencing was significantly reduced and my muscles are almost back to normal.I'm afraid to know what may have happened had we not crossed paths.I highly recommend Monica, especially if you are battling Bell's Palsy.

Monica is excellent at what she does. I started seeing her at 33.5 weeks pregnant to help flip a breech baby and by my next appointment at 36 weeks the baby had turned! I started seeing her again when I went past 40 weeks, and I went into labor a few hours after my 2nd or 3rd treatment that week! I highly recommend her to all pregnant women to help with pregnancy-related health issues or just overall good health!

Monica is the most powerful acupuncturist I have ever visited, with respect to both efficacy of the immediate treatment and the longevity of a given treatment's aftereffects. I attribute this to her skill in practice, of course, and also her sensitivity, insightfulness, and judgement. The plan she develops for each treatment is so highly and yet so easily tailored to the needs of the moment, her perceptivity really sets the stage for success on the table. I'd definitely recommend Monica to anyone seeking acupuncture.

I have been seeing Monica for 1.5 years and have loved every second! She helped me get pregnant (through IVF), stay pregnant and deal with the many hard symptoms of pregnancy. She has also helped with my headaches, stress/anxiety and I haven't gotten a cold since seeing her! Monica really listens to how I'm feeling and genuinely wants to help.
