DO NOT USE this florist if you want flowers delivered on time to a memorial service or any other important, time-specific event. I ordered flowers from Newport Florist for our friend's Memorial Service and they arrived too late to be brought into the church. Instead, the church coordinator took them directly to the reception hall. Not only were the flowers late, but the florist also did not answer any of our calls the morning of the service. After we arrived at the service, we called multiple times to find out where our flowers were. NO ONE answered the phone on a Saturday morning. It was all very distressing! My husband and I were one of three couples who ordered flowers from Newport Florist for the service, and all three arrangements arrived late. Monday morning following the service, I called to talk to the owner. The owner insisted that the flowers were delivered at 10:00 a.m. (The service started at 11:00.) The flowers actually arrived a few minutes before 11:00. She gave me a lot of pushback when I told her that the flowers were not delivered until close to the start of the service. I later learned that the delivery person was her husband, need I say more? After talking for a while, she finally agreed to give me a partial refund. I checked my credit card statement today and I see a $20 refund. Really???
