I dont want to give any stars. Is appalled at the customer service I received today. I was a AAA member for 2 whole days. 2 days ago I was really excited to join AAA with my own membership, felt like a grown up thing to do as I just turned 30. I called today for my 1st tow and was treated horribly. The first lady I spoke with to set up my tow was very rude, I was told I had to either ride with my car or agree to follow the tow truck or the call would not be placed, even tho I stated the car was going to my brother in laws to be fixed, he was expecting it and would be home and provided his information, she finally stated that I would have to ask the driver, she asked me what my plate number was, I happened to be about 10 minutes away from the car and didnt know it off hand. She then told me she needed it before they started the call, I asked if she could please start the call since I would be there in 10 min and would call right back, I was told I had 10 minutes to get her the plate number or my service call would be canceled. I later found out my plate number wasnt even needed in the first place. After hearing nothing for over an hour (no text either) I called to check the status and was told there was a 2 hour delay, even tho I was told an hour originally so that my pick up time would be 3:34 at approx 3:40 I called yet again, this time the lady called and asked where the truck was, i was told the driver would be pulling in any minute, i said great and hung up. As soon as i hung up i got a text saying i wouldnt be picked up until 4:29, another 45min about. I called yet AGAIN and was told that the truck wouldnt be there until 4:29 even just minutes ago they were supposedly pulling in any minute. Because of this my car was NOT able to be fixed today and I have to go another week without a car. After speaking with a manager who didnt really seem to care or try to make it right in anyway I canceled my membership only to be told I have to wait until Friday for it to be processed. I dont understand how treating people this way is acceptable. The rudeness of that first lady was shocking, asking questions that she had no business. Was really excited to be a member and enjoy all these perks you always hear about but unfortunately I cant support a company who would treat a customer, a new members first call even, in this way. Shameful! Looks like Uber it is for a week.
