Overall they did a thorough job especially with the bathrooms. I’ve had previous maid services in the past who leave grime and residue in the showers, but when I checked on Nw maids’ work, they had cleaned our showers well. If they were not too pricey I’d be more inclined to set up a monthly recurring clean. Booking online is easy but they should specify more clearly on their website that the time is an arrival window. Another plus is that they worked diligently and didn’t spend time chatting away with each other.

I am completely impressed with the deep clean and speed these ladies have. I will definitely use them again and have already told friends about the service. I felt like I was walking into a new house, clean. My carpet was fluffy again, like new. My base boards and windows are fresh and look new. My blinds are clean!!!!! The team cleaned from top to bottom, my whole house. I am so happy. My house feels happy too!

I recently stopped cleaning for this service, which I believe to be unprofessional and practicing unfair policies towards its employees. I was part of a 3 person team who worked for this company for 2 weeks. As part of the not completely informative hiring process, a phone conversation was the interview and the job manages itself somewhat through an app. The app is finicky and has network connection and note keeping issues. Clients also did not provide enough details about their preferences and we were continually not privy to all of the extras clients expected without paying extra for. Clients were allowed to request specific cleaning items not in our list be used (which means spending more on supplies), without informing us before jobs were scheduled. A cancellation fee was assessed on us when we declined to do homes that were immuno-compromised. We were expected to offer housekeeping AND housecleaning services without having clarifications the majority of the time. As a cleaner, there were multiple issues with the way business and communication were conducted by the company, and I would not recommend this company to anyone in need of consistent work above minimum wage. We were given impractical time periods for job completion and underpaid at each home, on top of their ratings system being a scam in favor of clients booking continuous services at even further discounts. Their pay scale translated to less than minimum wage for the three of us, and we were not allowed to restrict our availability to homes that would allow us to break even financially with our initial investment. We were given unrealistic profit margins which we quickly realized belonged to workers with more than 40 hours per week to spare, or likely a fabrication. I was never allowed to speak to the manager at any time before or during employment and my requests were met with a “she is out of the office” every time I asked. She never returned our calls. Our discipline for low reviews (8 reviews out of 30 homes) came in the form of an unannounced removal from the schedule. Which actually is jumping a step ahead of what is written in the handbook about offering LESS jobs to cleaners with bad reviews instead of none. The image proof we provided in the app of our work magically disappeared when needed. This review is also posted on Facebook and I am happy to share more if necessary. Overall, I’ve learned the best way to clean houses professionally is to go into business for yourself and not allow clients to stretch you thin.

The cleaning team was able to come out with 2 days notice which was great. Loved being able to book everything online through an easy to use interface. The cleaning team was very professional and efficient. I also got a personal phone call asking if everything went well with the cleaning which was a nice touch. Overall very happy and would recommend!

I was very grateful that NW Maids was able to accommodate two last-minute move-out cleaning requests. Both maids were prompt, friendly, and did a great job. The second cleaning was a huge job and NW Maids worked with me to switch the billing to hourly (which made the most sense) and Pearl (the maid) was able to rearrange her schedule (presumably with the central dispatch) to stay a full 8 hours to get the job done. Thanks NW Maids!! We will definitely call on you again. :)

Quick, flexible response from the dispatch service. More of a quick clean from the cleaners than the deep clean I paid for, though. Had to ask them to clean several specific things to get what I had been told came with the deep clean package (e.g. blinds), but they were responsive, so it works out if you’re ok with being there and the awkwardness of asking for multiple things.

The booking process was very easy. Very transparent about billing and very friendly. This bearing in mind was a Sunday afternoon. My service, a deep clean before my house goes on the market, was booked for the next day.The couple came early but cleared that with me 1st and did an excellent job. My house now looks like it has never been lived in. Great job guys! If I wasn't relocating I would definitely use them again.

Our cleaner was fabulous! He arrived right at the start of the time window they gave us. He got right to work and spent 4 hours on our house. When he was done, everything looked fabulous and sparkled! My husband thinks maybe he could have cleaned a little deeper, which is why I didn't give a 5-star rating but overall, we are very pleased. And - we were billed the exact amount on the estimate - no added fees! I'll definitely be scheduling our next cleaning with NW Maids.

For my first cleaning, they didn't mop the floors or do any dusting. For my second cleaning, they were a half hour late and I had to leave before they arrived. NOTE: you do not book a specific time for an appt--you book a "window." In the past, I always booked my cleaning appts for times when I would be out of the house running errands. With NW Maids, I can't do that, because I never know when they'll arrive and can't make any plans.

I've been using NW Maids for several months and I am very happy with the service provided. My job keeps me really busy and is very stressful and having someone helping me around the house makes a world of difference. My biggest issue has been floors. With 2 cats who love cardboard scratchers, the floors can get pretty dirty. I'm always happy with the quality provided. I schedule my service on Thursdays so I have a clean apartment for the weekend! My stress levels are down and even my cats are happier!
