I have received fraudulent emails from companies posing as Arlo. Customer service is horrible- they did absolutely nothing to protect my data. It is impossible to get Arlo headquarters on the phone.... more

The doorbell camera requires a monthly subscription fee that is not mentioned on their website when buying the device. There is no way of contacting Arlo Corporate and they will not allow a return after 30 days.

Arlo worked very well until ... a criminal moved into our apartment complex. I highly suspect he uses what's called a "jammer". I would visually see him come in then I'd look at the Arlo library and it would have no recording of him. At other times when he'd be within camera range the images would tile up. Other than that Arlo had caught a peeping Tom, attempted burglaries, bike thieves, parking lot accidents, suspicious strangers and coin thieves breaking in to the washer/dryers. This guy who I believe has the jammer goes out every night and either deals or steals. I've notified the police but they can only do so much. Wireless cameras are fine until you are confronted with someone who knows about jammers.

Dont buy the battery operated units. WIFI ok, but the battery powered units will only operate for about a week until they must be recharged.

My cameras are triggered and record for no reason and drain the battery. When there is actually something legit to record, they cut off in the middle of the activity. Customer service will say to lower sensitivity setting. This is not the problem. The problem is the product is Terrible and customer service is worse. Don

Everytime I try access my camera it will not work .every time I want turn my camera on/off says my camera is off line or takes 15minutes an still cant turn on or off camera still will not come up contact support , they cannot help . If the thief come they easily can be smarter than arlo
