Let me tell you right now to stop reading and just go to Soma. I took what I hoped would be a short trip to BCC and was greeted by being told I needed to present my ID. Understandable. So I did. After looking at my ID for 15 seconds of silence I was asked my birthday - which I gave, and the address on the ID - which I gave. I was told afterwards that the ID looked strange and that “Texas” IDs change all the time so maybe that’s why there was an issue.1. Our IDs do not often change. At all. My ID was identical to the ID of the person I walked in with in respect to format.2. I gave my address correctly and was told I didn’t. Either because the guy looking at it could not read or could not hear because he was too high, himself.I was then told to wait while they called the marshals to check the ID. Was told that if the ID checked out they would hook me up with a sweet deal - Quote. They followed that with a very accusatory “and if it is fake you should just get out now”. So kind. Later, after the guy who checked the ID in the first place realized he messed up, he immediately starts going back on what he said, claiming the ID was “probably” real and when I asked about the address confirmation (knowing I gave it right the first time) I was just told to “not worry about it”.Horrible staff, very accusatory, waste of time. Go to Soma.
