Turned away a customer ready to purchase their full daily limit because my perfectly valid ID has a knick on the side. Been accepted at several other dispos in town, including right after this. Said "even a tiny dent makes it invalid".Apparently they only deal with people who get so high they have to replace their IDs every two months. Its less than a year old and in fine condition.
