So I got my medical card and I first visited Central ave medical dispensary. Very nice little pharmacy. Smelled great! Made an online order and it went well. The website is very easy to navigate. Making ordering painless. Nice variety of flower, indica, sativa and hybrids. The reason for writing this review, is the Citradelic cookies!!! At a mid range 14% THC but with a nice 8% CBD this bud is pure balance. My glassy eyes aside. This is one of the best buds I have had the pleasure of inhaling and smelling for that matter. I am energetic but mellow and focused. Good head buzz too. This strain taste of lemons with a slight woodsy flavor and a hint of must. The s super tight, styrofoam like nuggs are very well cured and manicured. A little bit goes along way with this one. Thank you, thank you! I will be back soon!

It's an unassuming building from the outside. The employees are very knowledgeable and patient with noobs, like me. They are give excellent guidance and support when you have no idea what you are doing. The place itself is not unlike a waiting room at a doctor's office, except there is a glass case with pipes and some products. I highly recommend getting your medical use marijuana here.

The store itself is peaceful and beautiful-- The only place I trust for my medical needs!! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a medical store for their pain management needs. Other dispensaries could learn a few things from this staff. Absolutely wonderful, from customer service to product. My first visit was awesome. Left there with vapes and flower that were dope, the Rhythm selection is so good and packed in glass which is a nice touch. Lots of personalized, thoughtful attention to me and my preferences. After my second visit I realized I had an issue with a couple of the products and contacted them. The response from Devin was supportive, concerned and helpful. He invited me back after a thoughtful discussion with Eric I was provided with extras that really exceeded my expectations and helped to adequately treat my symptoms. Howls Tincture is the highest level of medicine. And the kitchen here kills it, the edibles are delicious. Even the best dispensaries will face unpredictable challenges; the way their staff handles those issues with a customer is the defining difference between them. And in my opinion, at this time, Central Ave is top shelf. Those guys are awesome. I just left there yesterday with a lot of product and it feels good to be stocked with strong medicine. I love the chairs, they are super comfy and really feel great to sit in. I'm no chair expert mind you there is no carpentry history on my resume, but in all honesty if I saw one of those chairs on the side of the road in the pouring rain I'd dry that s.o.b. off plop it in the corner of my living room and have myself a new smoking chair.

I like Central Ave for many reasons. They have a very nice facility. It is run a little different, more personal than other dispensaries. I don't find this to be a bad thing. I have found that unlike other dispensaries I have gone to, you get what you pay for so to speak, their discounted strains are not typically because of an abundance of product. It is discounted because of quality, so go for the higher priced product. I very much dislike their packaging choice of pouches, and I love the fact that you can stack discounts.

This place has the best staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Courteous and professional. I always leave feeling taken care of. They also have high quality products. They do call ahead appointments only. I usually give them a 20-30 minute heads up that I'm coming.edit 6/5/18: they no longer do call ahead appointments.

I have been to 8 dispenseries in our state and the first one i went to is the best for me in ayer.new flower selection happens just enough and they r only one of 2 places in our state that hasright rick simpson oil (1 to1) that i need.it is the only one that i have found that acts like a professional pharmacy.great place and staff.i read a review about bad vape cartridges at central ave.this has happened to me in several dispenseries.i no longer buy vape cartridges but i still shop central ave.its not thier fault.

I decided to check out Compassionate Care in Ayer, Ma on Central Ave a few days ago. It was an enjoyable 25 min all back road drive. The drive to them was one of the best drives I have had in a while going through a few small Massachusetts Towns. I finally saw the building and pulled into the parking lot that offers free parking and is monitored with a camera, very safe. I entered through the door, showed my medical card to the nice man at the window, grabbed a new patient paper pocket to fill out and proceed to the main dispensary room. I remember noticing the nice unique lighting on the ceiling and then the dark leather individual chairs. I took a seat and filled out my paper work. As I was filling it out I noticed the staff and the patients talking and how polite everybody were. I finally filled out my packet and then a nice man named David I believe came over and introduced himself to me and a nice warm welcome to the dispensary. He handed me a menu to look over and he helped me locate the products I specifically need. He took the time to listen and inform me on what they have to offer for specific conditions. I ended up picking up many prerolls and an eighth of Pineapple Express. The checkout system was fast and easy. After a fond goodbye it was not long after I was back on the road driving back home. When I got home I checked the dates on all the products. Everything was great except the date tested date on the Pineapple Express eighth was tested September of 2017 and packaged on September 2018. After looking at the flower in the container, it was very dry, crumbled very easy by touching it, and had no green color, all the nuggets looked like a yellow/white. The prerolls on the other hand were dated more recently.Compassionate care is a very nice dispensary, if they offered slightly better quality this place would be perfect.Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
