I will tell you why I can only give Columbia Care Dispensary 2 stars. It's not the employees because I was treated very well when I visited. The first reason is cost. Columbia Care has some of the highest prices in the state for less product. I doubt there is that huge of a difference in quality between what you get from Columbia versus other NY dispensaries. Dispensary in Amherst is a lot more affordable. Second issue is the location they chose. It just sucks! No private parking lot so you are forced to cross busy 104 on foot, and the abandoned Kodak building doesn't exactly have a "welcome" feel to it when you go in. As a medical marijuana patient I would go to Columbia Care only if there were no other options. I hope we get one or two more dispensaries here in Rochester which hopefully will drive the prices down somewhat.

Very high prices and poor selection. They are so primative and uneducated about marijuana they don't even know about the fact of different strands in the class of Indica, Sativa or Hybrid. There is no variety outside of THC and CBD ratios. Horrible model of medical marijuana when compared to what's available elsewhere. I found a dispensary in Buffalo that does provide sativa, indica or hybrid oil vape cartridges and remarkably lower prices.

One strain, very pricey and you have to show your recommendation form every time you go. And I am sorry but that's a pain in the butt! At Fp Wellness after the first time all you need is your card. Also there is no appointment needed, it's walk in any time their open. I will say that it would be nice if Fp Wellness took debit cards and a delivery service. But with the prices being cheaper and alternative products besides columbia cares, no thanks I'll get my medicine at Fp Wellness.

Security is excellent. I don't worry at all going here. It's totally awesome that they separate the THC and CBD components but boy do you pay for it! How your supposed to use it in place of a perscription pain medicine when it is (no joke) like 1000% more expensive I have no earthly idea. Politicians are mostly only motivated by money☹️ and NY state law supports that to the extreme.

One of the greediest dispensaries I've ever been to. Folks, just because your desperate doesn't mean SETTLE FOR LESS. I've been around the block in Colorado and New York for medical marijuana and this is probably 2nd to the absolute worst place I've been to.Prices are extremely high for garbage product. Columbia Care is just trying to make a killing of the new mmj industry and mark my words, they will not be around for the long haul. Every other dispensary in NY and other states for that matter charges LESS for STRONGER and higher quality product. Very disappointed in the $100 NON full vape cartridge? Seriously? I laughed when I left because I didn't want to waste anymore gas and I knew I'd been ripped off.Seriously how long do you guys think your going to fool people. I will be publishing awareness of this ripoff dispensary who targets desperate people instead of serious medical patients. Lastly, keep in mind other patients that you got your red card for quality medical service, not to be fooled by staff that use words you've never heard of and say their quality is good when its OBVIOUS where they stand in the industry. LOW GRADE.

Please Read.... I went to Columbia Marijuana Dispensary recently and I was not.... pleased. I'm a Combat Disabled Veteran and when I cashed out, the cost was so very expensive. Yes I got 4 vape pens but I have a huge amount of pain. I paid way less than half of the cost at MedMen in Syracuse and TRUST ME when I say it is worth the ride there. You will save a lot of money going there and their vape pens are way less in price and you DO NOT have to install a way over priced battery!Last thoughts, the hassle of getting their products is not worth going. I'm not trying to sell you Medmen, I am just being honest with you. And lastly, their is no competition in Rochester city limits and it's very evident that their is no financial regulation on costs. In Syracuse there are a few options as far as medical marijuana dispensaries so just shows you that TRUE COMPETITION helps keep prices honest and low...!As far as the receptionist that scans you in the Syracuse Dispensary she has a personality of a prison guard. Last thing, the over kill security, the very expensive product and the fact that I had to take off my hat and glasses for security was way to much to ask for. See you next time Medmen!

Pharmacannis DELIVERS!!! Liverpoole location DELIVERS to Rochester for LESS than you pay to pick up at Columbia. Columbia OVERCHARGES for every product they dispense. Columbia charges over $100 for 30 count capsules - Pharmacannis charges $100 for 60 count, Delivered to your door!! Owner of Coumbia refuses to comment on my post, as he screws patients over daily by inflated prices. I live 10 minutes walking distance from Columbia and I'll DRIVE to Amherst or Liverpoole to save 100%!! But Now Pharma DELIVERS!! You do the math!!

As a person in the cannabis industry that has experience with numerous dispensaries nationwide I do have to say that my experience with Columbia Care is extremely disappointing. $100 for a vape cartridge is not ideal, and the selection is just not great at all. Now, you can obviously blame this on the NYS Health Department and their complete lack of vision or compassion for MMJ patients, it is not the people at CC Rochester's fault. They were actually nice people, which is great, but has nothing to do with properly treating MMJ patients who know what they need. The Pharmacists are literally hog tied into scripts, and they have no idea what goes into these products by genetics whatsoever. Is this a Sativa? Indica? Hybrid? They don't have an answer for you. Look, you need to get in touch with your head office and make changes if you want a veteran of the drug war like me to come back and visit. Oh, and for the products itself, don't know, they let me walk out with a battery so I have to go back and get one because no 510 thread batteries work with these but theirs. See my point here? Less hospital like feel, more choice, educate your staff on what is in these products, and lower your prices.

Very clean and professional. I felt extremely comfortable and safe once I got inside but the parking needs thought as crossing RT 104 on foot while disabled is not ideal. If I functioned normal It wouldn't be an issue (like it wasn't for the kodac workers who did it for 20+ years) but i also wouldn't be there in the first place if I were able bodied.
