Service was quick, the staff were friendly and helpful, and PA-C Ashley Rodrigue demonstrated both competence and caring!I went to this American Family Care (AFC) urgent care location after being involved in a rear-end collision earlier that day. Wanting a medical evaluation, I looked up urgent care locations near me and chose AFC based on its overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. I had barely finished and turned in my paperwork before I was called back. After another short wait in an exam room, Ashley Rodrigue, a certified physician assistant (PA-C), came in to evaluate me.Rodrigue was thorough in her work. She listened to and took all of my questions and concerns seriously. She gave comprehensive explanations of what I was experiencing or could experience later on and how to best promote recovery. Most notably, her professional competence was matched by genuine caring.My visit to AFC (filling out the paperwork, waiting to be called back, being seen by Ashley Rodrigue, and getting the discharge summary) took just under an hour, which I consider phenomenal. I left feeling validated and at ease with my medical situation following the car accident.I was in the Seattle area on business, but if I lived there, AFC would be my preferred (and recommended) urgent care! I only hope to find a comparable urgent care where I live, should I need one.
