Knowing the store has limited hours due to Covid, I arrived at 240 with my daughter - the store closes at 3:00. There were five people in line. The last person said she just recieved a ticket as the 'last person'. I went to the front, asking why they would not stop the line at 3 - which was 20 minutes later? They said it was due to CDC. They then said I did not need to shop there if I did not like it. I then said I'd post this, they welcomed the post. I drove by at 2:55 - gues what? No people in line. Just the person not letting anyone in. As promised, here is my post. Michael's is 1/2 mile down the road. You shop online, they will email you when it's ready for pickup and they'll meet you at the curb with your order. I just placed mine a few minutes ago. Michaels figured a way to satisfy their Covid concerns while ALSO valuing their customers. I will NEVER go to JoAnn's again.

Had the worst customer experience, got told men dont belong in craft stores and still had the BEST Employees (who were also harassed by this woman) help me out and were very great at handling the issue in a professional and apologetic way, not that they needed to but they did and THATS AWESOME! They helped me look for the fabric I needed and gave some expert advice that I have found very useful, my question is, Who can hire these 2 on at a higher wage, They deserve it! Thanks alot! I dont want to disclose their names for their privacy but EXCELLENT ππππ€

Hands down the definitive place to go for all fabric, sewing, and related crafts and materials. As a guy, the best thing I can say is that this is the Home Depot of fabrics: huge stock and variety, large store that is easy to navigate and just outstanding customer service. All the folks who work on the floor are just amazing when it comes to helping a noob like me find what I need, especially since what I need is usually the strangest combination of items. Should also mention it is right off the freeway, easy to get to and parking is plentiful. They have great prices to begin with but you can always count on there being some sale or discount going on as well so I always leave with exactly what I wanted having paid a lot less than I planned.

They confuse customers despite customers ask them questions about their purchase. Long line waiting at cashier she/he told me you have to go to fifferent place to measure the elastic becsuse cashier has nothing to measure the elastic tape with. I purchased same items from 99 cents store quartes mile away from joann for 1 dollar at joann probably would have cost me 5 to 6 dollars if not more. They should have camera to watch their mistakes to inhance and improve their operation. They might expect legal action for their ignorance and bad work ethics.

Extremely slow at checkout area. Only 2 people manning the registers on a Sunday afternoon of Thanksgiving weekend. With all their deals going on there was at least 20 people in line. The line grew that much because 1 of the cashiers stepped away with no word to the customers waiting or to her coworker. She was out of the area 3+ min. Where was management during all of this? Obviously way understaffed for the day. I was like 5th in line when I came into the checkout line and only needed to pick up online order. I waited 15+ minutes and by the time I was helped (very friendly customer service while at the register by the way)people waiting were almost backed up to the door at the entrance. Just crazy and simple mismanagement. 3 stars for the order that I picked & friendly service.

Not very happy with this store. Yes, they iffer great coupons but lack the products to save money on. The store is do haphazardly set up, you cant find anything! The fabric cutting station is backed up ... wait time as long as 50 minutes. And one, JUST ONE person at the registrars with a line of very unhappy customers (23 ahead of myself)! Needless to say, I bought zero!

Type coupon to 56266 to sign up for Joann's coupons! It's a great way to save even more on whatever you happen to be buying there. Also don't forget to take a number if you want your bolts cut! I went there today and saw 4 or 5 people waiting to get their bolts cut but who didn't grab a number. Uh oh. They Are a great place for fabric and other craft goods (paints, baskets, fake flowers, sewing supplies, stuffing, stencil paper, mixed media, canvases, etc) so don't let the fool you into thinking they only help with sewing

I absolutely LOVE the mangers. Unfortunately they really need to train their staff about dressing appropriately. There is a young lady with tattoos, piercings and has green hair who is always at the cut table and she is very unapproachable. She kind of scared me.β the last time I went. Eventually she called my number and was very hostile, slamming my fabric on the table and asked me βWell, how much do you want?!β She was very rude. I wouldnβt want an employee like that working at a business/location with such high reviews.

Just visited this Jo-Annβs for the first time and was greeted warmly by the young women at the register. As I made my way to the cut table I asked a young lady if she knew where the tulle is. She replied: β no.βThen walked away. I again asked her if she could call someone to help and she said: βNobody can help you. We are closingβ and then again she turned around and walked away. Her name was Maddie or something like that, but they were closing so I didnβt have time to talk to a manger. She would be fired on the spot if she worked for me.

The reason I liked this store is it usually has pretty unique seasonal items which I like. I purchased 2 ocean theme items because they reflected what I like. However, when I came up to check out, cashier was on phone w/ another customer. No one else was in line except me. As cashier was maybe answering question from phone customer. I walked over to where cashier was still talking & waited. Finally cashier off phone, then call someone in store while I was still waiting to check out. Finally started to assist me. No apology given for me an actual person waiting & standing when call could have been transferred to someone in management who is sitting far away from the live action to handle. Store is stuck in past about how to treat customers in today's world. I asked for a senior discount like most similar stores give & was told that JoAnn doesn't give any discount. I have shopped here in the past & was given one. Now change in rulesπππIf you are a senior you are going to be disappointed that this company doesn't care about their senior clientele π
