Terrible. They get 2 stars because they got the work done that I needed (replacement crown) in a short time, partly because I called to say the temporary crown had fallen out and they told me the permanent crown had come in over a week earlier than my scheduled appointment. Problems: Total indifference to pain and incompetent and not transparent billing practices. I will not go back and will not recommend this office. Apparently, some dentists can do a crown replacement all in one visit, though that may cost more. Not this place, and they aren't inexpensive.1. Pain: My temporary crown had fallen out the night before they replaced it, so the root was sensitive. When they put the permanent crown in, no pain med at all. It was excruciating, and I tolerate pain fairly well. Then, after the dentist was done and the assistant was cleaning off the area around the crown, she was not gentle, though she knew I was in a LOT of pain. Then, at the end, she blasts it with cold water and I just pushed everything out of my mouth and wouldn't let her near me again. Seriously, I asked if they didn't have warm water in the office. Incompetent. 2. This office does not bill accurately to insurance. If they know the insurance won't cover it, they don't include it in the bill, even though I have paid it already. My FSA processor questioned the expense, and that's when I noticed the difference between the EOB and the receipt (which I had to ask the office to send me). Lots of unnecessary hassle over billing. They submitted another bill to the insurance, which they did not cover, and it is the wrong amount. They never gave me a copy of the costs that I agreed to, so I had nothing to reference.
