Doesn’t deserve a star! I am looking for a PCP for my son who is now too old to see his pediatrician. Called East Valley to schedule an appointment for an annual physical with a male doctor. I was told “They don’t do that!” because he would be a new patient. I was like, so you are not currently accepting new patients? Receptionist said no, male doctors do not do physicals on the first visit, would you like one of the female doctors? I said my son is not comfortable with female doctors. If I schedule the first physical with a female, can we switch to a male after that? I was told NO! You can’t switch back and forth between doctors! She asked me if there’s anything wrong with my son now? Because if there is, THEN I can get an appointment with a male doctor. So I should just sit around hoping my son will get sick? This place is a joke!
