Love seeing Kali D. when I need a Drs visit but I cannot stand Monique in the front office. She is very rude every time I get her on the phone. While explaining why I needed to make an appointment, she cut me off and very rudely noted the times available. I had a couple reasons I needed to come in but she only took down one before rushing off the phone. Her tone and attitude really needs to change. The other women are so pleasant though! I've talked to quite a few ladies up front and every single time they are in a great mood, smiling when I get to the counter, patient, and very helpful.

The front office staff are so unprofessional. I checked in and had to fill out paperwork to update my address and one staff told me I had a balance while checking in another patient. I felt my privacy was exposed. I tried making my payment the day of the appointment and was told I had to wait for insurance to go through and I never recieved any calls. And that's how I was notified. As I was checking out one of the staff was extremely rude to me and I felt discriminated against because I was unable to pay. My boyfruend left our HSA card at home and I told her I would just call in to pay. She told me that I was not able to leave without paying and had to call a specialist. I was so embarrassed and they dont have privacy. On top of that I recieved messaging saying how I was refusing to pay and that patients like me would be discharged. I don't know if this office is capable of keeping patient privacy and they lied about the interaction. I've been going there for almost 20 years and never felt so humiliated and 5 other family members are patients there. The office manager was extremely rude to me when I called in with my privacy concerns. This situation gave me anxiety and I'm just looking for a FORMAL APOLOGY. I called in today to make a payment sa and they didnt even have the correct billing information or my updated address. We will be leaving this office after all of the stress they caused me

I have been going to East valley Primary for more years than I can remember. I see Dr Wright and she is absolutely wonderful and caring. She truly cares about her patients and wants the best for us. The office staff is also wonderful. Very accomodating and friendly. I am blessed to have this Doctor and her staff caring for my health and well being.

If you’re an ASU student who needs a refill on prescriptions, this place is probably fine. But I have had a couple dozen gripes with every facet of their business. Normally, I don’t care about bad service. I just move on with life. But this is so egregious I do not want anyone to go through what I had to, especially if you need professional health care (I’m terminally ill, and wow did I pick the wrong doctor at the wrong time). Doctor- my doctor here has forgotten to write my prescriptions, failed to perform my physicals for pre-operation clearance, did not write my clearance after two weeks of my paperwork “sitting in his box”. I have been belittled for THEIR mistakesOffice- extremely rude service. For people in healthcare, you’d think they would care about patients. Nope, I’ve been blamed on multiple occasions for their mistakes. Condescension and rudeness at every call. Which has been frequently, because I had to walk them through every step of correspondence with orders and my other doctors. I have done so much work for their staff I deserve to be put on payroll. They somehow always lose my orders, or notes from my doctors, and their fax machine was turned off for a week! I don’t understand how their office can operate or function properly. Billing- can’t pay online, or even in person after my visit. I have to wait to be billed by mail, which they do quarterly, or come back in later in the week to pay. My time with these people has been ridiculous. They’ve genuinely almost caused major issues for me and my health, and I will never ever ever ever ever set foot in that place again. I honestly don’t even have space to write everything wrong with these people. Absolutely unprofessional on every level. Disgusting.

I cant speak to the negative reviews as that was not my experience. I went to this place to get away from my old primary doc who did not have my best interest in mind and in general had a very uninterested demeanor twords my care. I almost cancelled my appointment after reading the reviews here but decided to go anyway, and I am glad I did. All of the staff were exceptional and Dr James Blair treated me better than any doc aside from my pediatrician as a kid. He addressed the myriad of concerns I had and is very knowledgeable about all topics discussed. He took his time with me and did not make me feel rushed or that he needed to move on to someone else. I will be coming here from now on. Thank you so much.

Doesn’t deserve a star! I am looking for a PCP for my son who is now too old to see his pediatrician. Called East Valley to schedule an appointment for an annual physical with a male doctor. I was told “They don’t do that!” because he would be a new patient. I was like, so you are not currently accepting new patients? Receptionist said no, male doctors do not do physicals on the first visit, would you like one of the female doctors? I said my son is not comfortable with female doctors. If I schedule the first physical with a female, can we switch to a male after that? I was told NO! You can’t switch back and forth between doctors! She asked me if there’s anything wrong with my son now? Because if there is, THEN I can get an appointment with a male doctor. So I should just sit around hoping my son will get sick? This place is a joke!

Dr. Blair has been great with my husbands care. After 3 other Dr's and our expressing concerns about the number of BP meds he was on, Dr. Blair actually listened. He adjusted the meds, including taking him off one. His BP is better than it has been in a long time. The staff have also been great. Able to schedule him for appointments very quickly and not having to wait months for a return call or an appointment.

Every time I call for an appointment the ladies answering the phone question me deeply about my visit. Today I called and ask to have a Lab order sent over and they said they did. But when I called back I got another lady who was disrespectful when I ask for her to email me the lab. No explanation. I am done.

I have been a patient at EVPC for 30 years, and I could not be happier. Dr. Gilson saved my life 5 years ago, and when he left I was fortunate enough to become a patient of Dr. Blair. He listens so well and tries to do anything he can to help with my multiple problems. The staff has also been very courteous and professional to me. Thank you, EVPC!!

I went here 14 years ago as a teen and saw Dr. Wright. She told me she doesn't "believe" in Endometriosis. I lost distrust in Primary Care Physicians at that point. Now I am trying to make an appointment to see a different doctor and was told that since I was one of her patients and she no longer practices there that none of the other doctors would take me on as a new patient. They are refusing me care because I was a patient of hers when I was a child.
