Check your credit card statements!!! They keep your card information on file and charge it later even if you already paid, without your permission or signature. I decided to give Elements a 2nd change after they cancelled our massages twice last minute in December. My boyfriend had never had a massage before and I thought this would be a great gift for Christmas; everything was great even though the massages were not 60 mins, I was happy he was finally able to get his massage. Our total was $138 together, we gave tips in cash and handed over three $50 gifts cards from spa finder ($150). The girl up front return one gift card saying I still had $12 left (150-138=12), perfect went about our way. Last Monday, I checked my CC statement and seen that Elements had charged me $50. I called to get $50 refunded back and they couldn't figure out what had happened or why. After being on hold several times and speaking to a lead I was told I'd be refunded $50. Okay no problem... so I thought. Today I check my statement and I was refunded $38 of the $50. I get it, it's $12 no big deal but I'm not okay with my card being charged without my permission or signature after paying the full amount. Currently waiting for a call back to hear what excuse they have this time. The price I was charged was not worth the "60 min" massages we received. Better customer service at Massage Envy and no scheduling conflicts.
