Good people who help people - at least that was our experience with George! We were desperate because the rental car we had gotten during our vacation in Palm Springs had just scraped up against a high curb and damaged the tire/rim. We were just a few hours from returning it to the airport and needed some advice on how to address it. Out of the goodness of his heart, George spoke to us on the phone, heard the desperation in our voices, and told us to come on by. He took a look at it and made some recommendations that really helped us out.He knew on the phone that this probably wasn’t a paid service for Goodyear, but he was amazing and went through the trouble to help us anyway. I just want people to know that these are pretty great people to do that on a busy weekend. Hopefully those of you who need paid services will read this and be more likely to choose this place over others. Thank you George!

My 23 year old daughter is on her own out here in Palm Desert after a move from SC. We feel very thankful that the crew at Mountain View Tire have been so helpful and kind to her. She has had brake work, tire change, oil change, and more work done here. Every time, she has been treated so wonderfully, and the work that has been done was top notch. There is a fella there named George, and he is just a delightful human being! We could not be more pleased with their service.

I was sceptical at first (and of all the positive reviews 😂) only because I'm used to going to my dealership. However, the mechanics and writers are honest and attentive and are willing to work with me on my sometimes unique maintenance needs. I got an oil change over the weekend but then had car issues after. They asked me to bring my car in again, opened my car intake, and found a dead bug that crawled inside! My car is driving normal again! I can't think of any other mechanic that would take the time to figure out such an oddball issue! I'm grateful that they took that amount of care to figure out the issue. I'm looking forward to my next scheduled service 😊EDIT: 2 years later and I still take my car here for maintenance. They're awesome. 👍

I've been using Mountain View Tires, Town Center Way, for my car care since 2016 when I moved to the desert. Jorge is my go to man!! Jorge is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, helpful, and a pleasure to conduct business with!! He explains everything to me in terms in which I can understand. He offers me car care options and scheduling plans that work with my financial capacity and work schedule. He is honest and conducts business with high integrity. He's able to lay out a precise plan of action and determine an estimate in advance and stays accurately within the parameter. While being serviced, Jorge periodically checks in on my vehicles progress and supplies me with updates and feedback. I really feel like my vehicle is in good hands at Mountain View tires!!I definitely have shared my endorsement of MVT with my friends. Thank you to the many mechanics and staff at MVT and a special shout out of appreciation to Jorge, I'm truly grateful!

Our Jaguar overheated on a Sunday afternoon when we were far from home and this shop helped us out. There wasn't much they could do for our poor car (we killed the engine as well) but they get five stars for attitude, helpfulness, not charging us for unnecessary tests, co-ordinating the pick-up by Habitats for Humanity as part of their culture of service. Dan and George are great guys who care. I feel your vehicle will be in good hands.

For the last ten years Mountain View has been the only place my Ford Edge has been serviced. I trust Robert and his crew to perform the work professionally and at a good price. I always go along with Robert's suggestion what needs to be done and I can trust him because there are times where no additional work is recommended. Mountain View is the only place my wife takes her Solara. The dealer has only done recall items on both cars.

I love taking my car to this location. I refuse to go to dealerships for an oil change because they take forever and treat you like you are an inconvenience for trying to do a drop in for an oil change (worst in the valley is Crystal Chrysler). Robert is always very awesome with his customer care, super helpful and makes sure everything on the car is completely taken care of before letting it leave. I have taken my cars to this location for the past 5 years because the whole experience is given here. I took my car in today and yes, it took a bit long to get done. Its Saturday, its season and they have people out sick. Still doesn't bother me as the location is conveniently near shopping within walking distance.

My tire went flat in the Mall parking lot. I tried to put on the doughnut, but the bolts were tightened by Superman after a kryptonite lunch. I went to Sears. They refused to help. I proceeded to Mountain View Tire. Robert, an awesome employee, replaced the blown out tire with the doughnut free of charge. Many thanks to Robert. And a shout out to his boss. A simple act of human kindness that will continue to find a place in my heart.

I usually receive very good service at Palm Desert Mountain View. For years I have taken all my cars there for service and I have recommended them to many friends. Sadly I was disappointed by the service my daughter received when she took her car in for a routine oil change. Seems the oil filter was not properly tightened so most of the oil drained from the car onto her garage floor. She did not know this had happened so she drove her car to work the next morning. When her husband found a large puddle of oil on the garage floor he called her and told her not to drive the car anymore. A tow truck brought the car back to Mountain View where the problem was easily fixed. Naturally you would expect at least a full refund for the oil change, but this wasn't even offered until it was specifically requested. Personally I think several free future oil changes would have been appropriate. No serious damage occurred, but there was much inconvenience. We were left with an oil stained garage floor and a serious loss of confidence. I will probably go back again because I know this is not their usual level of quality, but I don't think I will recommend them to others.

I have been so happy with everything this store/garage has done for my 1999 Toyota pickup truck. Robert is very professional and vary knowledgeable.Being a female, I'm fearful of getting ripped off. That has never been the case here. This business is honest and trustworthy.Thank you Robert at Mountain View Tire for taking such good care of me and my truck.
