Feedback:

I wished I liked this place more as I had high hopes and it looked promising. However to begin with, service was quite slow. It wasn't a very busy night so we didn't feel it was justified. The Google maps page advertises frozen margaritas but this place doesn't do their margaritas frozen, they have no blender. The food was entirely over priced with a mandatory 20% gratuity on top. NOTE: 20% GRATUITY IS ALWAYS INCLUDED. However you feel about this gratuity being forced upon the patrons (I'm usually not a fan, just include it in the food costs), they didn't let you know beforehand nor was it on the menus. The food itself wasn't that bad and is the only thing keeping this from being a one star review (that and the atmosphere was pleasant), but it's gentrified Mexican. White people Mexican food for sure. I felt like this is the upscale bougie version of the actual food. If you go to a real traditional Mexican restaurant, you'll get twice the flavor and quality for half the price. Speaking of price. We spend $70 on four items. Those items were a single shrimp taco, an enchilada combo and two margaritas. That is astounding for a Mexican place like this. I've never felt like I've wasted my money on food like this before. Would have rather spent $10 at Tacos Delta across the street or got quality food at Bottega Louie. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here and I don't recommend you visit either. Try Mexican in Los Feliz for better results.
