Temecula Valley Hospital always exceeds my expectations. Our Dad had an 8 day stay and all of the Staff are exceptional. TVH is obviously understaffed. The Team effort witnessed by me is inspiring.... more

Feedback:
I had to go to ER for severe swelling in my face from an infection. I was admitted right away as there was no wait. Everyone from the admitting nurse to the ER doctors and nurses were very kind and attentive. I had to wait a little bit before getting a CT scan and the swelling had already increased. The technician did his best to quicken the scan as I was very uncomfortable. I ended up needing surgery and they kept me informed of the plan right away and that I would have to be admitted to the hospital. The surgical team was excellent and I recovered on the 5th floor. I honestly cannot say anything negative about one person who was a part of my care. Everyone from the nurses, nurses assistants, custodial, lab techs, social worker, and the doctors on duty and the surgical team that followed up were all so amazing and kind. I felt like each one cared about what I needed and how I was doing. It was such a scary unexpected medical emergency and they made me feel confident they knew what to do and assured me all along the way. I took down each of their names as best I could and include them in my prayers. I pray they know they are all so appreciated.

I wasn't offered any meds until 5 hours later when I was ready to be checked out. Several people are had come and gone before me. I had to ask 4 times to be taken care of while very uncomfortable and in pain. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Normally it's not that bad for the e.r and it wasn't due to our current pandemic covid either. They were short staffed and nobody was paying attention to who was coming in or out of the building to take temps before people entered. Anybody was walking in and sitting down. Terrible day for TVH.

I was recently seen at hospital ed. for flu symptoms on 06/21/20 and everyone was very nice. I told them I had chills , dizziness , and increase shortness of breath and body aches .With a history of asthma. CHF.and I'm 69 years old. Problem being I was told I'm being released home before seeing MD . Then when MD came in to talk to me he told me he said xray , labs ,o2 sat are fine and even if it were covid 19 theres nothing they could do. He did no physical exam whatsoever!!! And also told I would get covid test results in 2 - 3 days , (great service !,) if I did have it I would probably be dead by then . My main beef hear is NO PHYSICAL EXAM!!! How does one assess a patient without one???

A dear friend of ours was admitted due to severe debilitating lower back pain for 6 days. This condition triggered a severe panic attack. I waited to be "checked in" (escorted to her room) for 20 minutes. I should also mention that I was the only person in line. I was told that someone would be notified to escort me to her room. After an additional 35 minutes, I asked an employee that was sitting behind a desk, that I had observed doing NOTHING for the 35 minutes, if I could be escorted to my friend's room. I was told that it would be a few minutes. After 15 additional minutes, the person that had still been doing NOTHING escorted me to my friend's room. When I asked the person "Why was there such a long delay?" her response was "We're very busy". It's an interesting response because there were 6 patients in the waiting room and I had observed this person doing NOTHING for 50 minutes. I should also mention that the "check in" person NEVER notified anyone to escort me to my friend's room. While I was waiting, I observed an elderly gentleman that was experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath. He was there when I arrived and was STILL waiting when I left. My conclusion is that this emergency room has absolutely no compation for people in need of care. A section of the hippocratic oath is to do no harm. Unfortunately, the staff that is comprised of people that have spent several dollars and little time on education with fly-by-night educational facilities have never had and/or never been taught human compassion and care. If you find yourself in need of medical care, DON'T GO HERE!

Temecula valley hospital , has been outstanding from the doctors to the nurses and all of the staff that has provided care for me . I have had afib rvr and been in the hospital and the (ER) on many occasions , without their care and support and most of all understanding , I really don*t think I would have made it . I want to thank all of the Temecula valley hospital staff from the bottom of my heart for the Greatest of care and compassionSincerly , William Neumayer

I broke my hip on a Sunday night , went to U.C. in Temecula, they confirmed with xray my hip was broken , I checked into Temecula Valley Hospital and started the process , i was in lots of pain and they took excellent care of me, had my hip surgery on Monday night , all in all I feel the staff was amazing and thank each and every one of them for taking such good care of me , Autumn was the nurse i most interacted with and she was a very good person , thank you to Autumn and all the staff who were so kind to me while i was in the hospital .

Very efficient ER, treated with respect regardless of the situation.After complaining about throat problems for over a year to 3 doctors in OC and L.A. I was seen at TVH ER for something totally unrelated where Dr. Siems (sp) took notice and referred me to an ENT where they discovered a cancerous tumor in my throat, which has since been cured.

I DID NOT WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL! Someone I did not know called 911 without asking me or getting my permission. I just needed some juice. After leaving the hospital i had a 20 mile bike ride with our afternoon group. I played 18 holes of golf the need morning. NO ISSUES. This was a waste of my time and money. A waste of hospital resources and space. I feared catching something from sick people in the hospital. It also took several hours for your team to understand the non-issue.

Hospital and staff is outstanding! I was very glad to see security at emergency room entrance having people use hand sanitizer and reading coved 19 symptom notice before entering hospital . ( Smart) !My only recommendation is that they have paper mask for people to put on at door also rather than have to ask for one.

It was obvious when I arrived to the ER that they were too small for the volume of traffic. The result was unnecessary delay. I could see that everybody working in the ER was doing their best but I was really hurting and so noticed the delay. Aside from that I was treated and on the way home in a matter of hours - no problem there.
