Feedback:
The receptionist and nurse were very nice and professional. The office was clean. However, the young PA who saw me was extremely unprofessional. I am visiting from out of town and got a nasty sinus infection. The PA wanted to prescribe Augmentin. I have had Augmentin before and it gives me horrible gastrointestinal problems. Since I have a four hour flight tomorrow, this medication is not a good idea. I asked her to prescribe azithromycin because that is what has worked for me in the past without the horrible side effects. She told me that azithromycin is not indicated for sinus infection and is just a placebo. This is absolutely not true. I indicated that if she would not prescribe azithromycin that I would have to go elsewhere. She stormed out of the room like a child, yelling that I was being rude to her. I am a 59 year old retired medical professional and I have NEVER been treated with such condescending manner. Fortunately, she did prescribe the medication I wanted. I will never go back to this urgent care.
