I'm not one to write poor reviews, but I just had to do what I could to warn those looking at this complex. Lived here for a bit over two years and I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to be leaving. This complex has the worst and rudest management, bug infested apartments(roaches, ants, termites), and terrible maintenance(took one week to fix my AC in the summer). ANYONE looking to possibly rent from this place, steer clear, the price isn't worth the inconvenience. Just by looking at their positive reviews you can clearly see they are scripted as they all say the same thing in a different format from freshly created google accounts.

I currently live here and my AC stopped working. Their "emergency maintenance" line just sends you to their voicemail which they never respond to. I've called several times over the last 24 hours and they never call me back. This isn't the first time this has happened either. I was in a different unit last year and every summer the AC would break. It got so bad that the carpet to the entry of my bedroom was soaked because the AC rained in the hallway everytime it turned off. The rest of the time it didn't work at all. And to top it all off, the older gentleman that works at the office is absurdly rude. When my boyfriend and I were talking about moving in, he made jokes about us needing counseling because we were young and moving in together. I am friends with several of my neighbors and they all have their own horror stories about the older man from the office. So basically, if you move here, expect to be hot, frustrated, and insulted.

Great location as well. I think the staff has been trying very hard to be better than what people have been saying. The gym is also pretty nice compared to a lot of apartments. Pool area is beautiful as well. It would be nice if there were more dumpsters or trash pick up because I’ve only seen 3 and they are all next to each other.

This is really bad place to live. When have an issue (no matter what) they will deal with you in very bad way!! The maintenance people are so so so bad. When you have really major situation, you cannot meet the manger! To meet Trump may be easier than to meet the manager right here. Unprofessional way to deal with. Unprofessional way to help you whenever you need. They gave a key for my apartment that it is not for. I am stuck right now in front of my door because of them. I don’t recommend anyone to live here!!

I’ve lived here since August of 2017. Over I really do like the complex, it’s centrally located to stores, the light rail and many highway accesses. While it’s a great location I have some major issues and safety concerns with the practices of the leasing office. My primary issues are lack of communication from the leasing office, the slow response to fix maintenance issues, and the lack of support to resolve roommate disputes caused by Greenleaf’s dorm style roommate matching. Now add mold that they refuse to remove, and an ability to complete reasonable maintenance requests I find it’s not particularly helpful that whenever I voice my concerns to the leasing office, their suggestion is for me to move so that tells me they don’t have confidence in their own ability to run things. The office does not often provide proper notice before entering your residence. And maintenance will not leave notes when they come in per a maintenance request, half the time the request was not completed or completed incorrectly. Additionally the maintenance office doesn’t seem to care about the safety of their residents, won’t inform residents of roommates move out dates, and has a dismally slow response time to emergency maintenance requests. They’ve changed management companies and hours of operation without informing the residents.It’s very frustrating to try and get anything fixed and the office offers no support for roommate disputes. Green leaf shouldn’t be offering dorm style roommate matches if they’re not going to help resolve roommate disputes, then they shouldn’t be offering dorm style leases. It’s a wonderful place to live so long as you don’t have any issues that need resolved. For the most part the office staff is incredibly nice and accommodating, but there’s definitely some room for improvement when it communication with the residents, and they should have maintenance leave notes so that you know there were there and the problem was fixed.

Comfortable and nice apartments. The shared areas are kept clean, the gym has good equipment, and its location is great for students or families. There are many students living here, so the events hosted by the office are a good opportunity to make friends.These are popular apartments, meaning lots of residents, so sometimes non-emergency maintenance requests can take time to get to. That said, the Maintenance Team does good work. I happened to catch them while they were repairing my dishwasher and I requested they look at something left off the original request. When I returned from class they had taken care of both issues.

Stopped by the office today to try to get some information since I am currently looking for new housing. Thought this apartment complex could be a great fit, but the older gentleman in the office that was supposed to help us out had no interest on doing so, actually looked like it was such an inconvenience for him . I wouldn't picture myself living in a place with people like him being in charge of the office.

They've promptly fixed it when the appliances acted weird, they have large apartments and the cost is really excellent. And each roommate can have their own lease- which is really super.And maybe I don't use the gym or the pool that much, but they've seemed well maintained whenever I did use them.

This apartment complex very convenient in that it is very close to the light rail so it makes transportation easy for residents. Its rent is fairly priced for the size of the room and distance from the Tempe ASU campus. Also the maintenance here is super friendly and always willing to help. The only thing i can say that I think is inconvenient is that you can only pick up packages during certain hours on certain days.

I have lived in Green Leaf Tempe Station for four months. The apartment is ten minutes away from the ASU Tempe campus by rail. So it's very convinient for me and saving many times everyday. And the staff at the leasing office is very kind. They are ready to help the residents living in the apartment. I highly recommend Green Leaf Tempe Station.
