Former student . 1. The only reason they have five stars is because they force their students to give them great reviews. I can remember being locked in a room and expected to write reviews for survey monkey. 2. You can get the exact same training elsewhere for a quarter of the price. 3. They treat you great until you get past the point of getting a refund then it all goes to hell. 4. Remember this is a career that has the life span of 5 years. It is not cost effective. If your a parent trying to help your young adult make this decision parent to parent go elsewhere this place is a scam.

I am a former student, anyone looking to further their massage education or gain experience as a first time student, please beware. To get you in the door, admin will over promise and under deliver. During the meeting with financial aid, I was told I would be paying close to $30,000 for my "education". I agreed to go ahead and see what I would be getting into and started the program, thinking highly of the staff and the material I would be learning.However, after you are signed up and committed to paying, the happy, friendly, financial aid front office staff no longer care enough to glance in your direction.To my disappointment, the class instructors were lazy, petty, and at times inappropriate. There was a male "instructor" named Travis, who made suggestive comments about his personal life and felt it necessary to describe his inappropriate Halloween costume during class time. Most of class time felt like personal time, and it didn't help me gain much knowledge at all.As a class, we sat around and played games barely related to the material we were paying to learn. I felt like a child in grade school. When signing up, I was promised 900 hours of education and halfway through the program an announcement was made that we would only be graduating with 800 hours of education, all while paying the same tuition. When I asked about this change, I was told, "at least you get to sleep in an extra hour" which I don't care about, I wanted the full 900 hours of education I was promised and was paying for.This earned two stars instead of one, because not all of the instructors were inappropriate. I truly feel like I could have taught myself and passed my state exam if I read the books on my own. I passed my exams and have my job title, but I could have saved $30k and studied on my own with the same result. Bummer.

Best teachers! Great community! and Great education and very comprehensive curriculum! I would recommend this school to anyone pursuing Massage Therapy! and HIGHLY Recommend the Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy Program. I have been asked by physicians if i was a Naturopathic Doctor because of the knowledge the course has given me. Also have been able to start my own Buisness and help so many people with chronic pains, injury rehab. People are blown away by the level of education that I have! I am Super thankful to all the staff down at NHI

I had an encounter with some students at my chiropractors office offering massage therapy.. I was astounded and marveled by the professionalism in all aspects specially by the young lady named Kathryn 'B' ( knowing how the muscles and tendons worked in tandem throughout the body) and also the professionalism in character defining the institute she represents...(I can say a well trained therapist is the better half of the chiropractors visit) -satisfied " patient-client"
