Feedback:

When I contacted Visiting Angels, my mother had been diagnosed with beginning dementia. I realized she had a problem but had no idea what it was until I was toldby her physician. The director at Visiting Angels, Joyce Stallings, paired me with a woman who became me and Mom's angel. She assisted me in helping with all of my mother's daily needs. Sometimes people with dementia will not bathe and that was one of the problems we encountered. The caregiver brought my mother food with her own money, took her out on daily excursions and in general became my right hand incaring for Mom. Eventually, we had to move Mom into my home, and the caregiverwas there with us until my mother recently departed this life. Without the assistance of this caregiver, I would not have been able to give mom the last peaceful, days she deserved.
