Feedback:

Racist, petty, and passive aggressive. If you're a person of color, believe the other reviews that most employees at this store are racist. My spouse and I, both younger Hispanic females, own an herbal hair care business and stopped in to checkout the store to see about sourcing ingredients locally. My spouse went to use the rest room as I checked out the wall of herbs and about 2-3 female employees came up to me asking "yes, can I help you" and not in a friendly manner. More like, "what are you doing here?". I saw a Caucasian male approach the herbal counter, what I later found out was a self-serve area, and a female employee immediately came up and helped him by weighing out and packaging what he was purchasing. I proceeded to let her know that I was ready and wanted some ingredients and she pointed at a sign and said "it's self-serve". She had literally just helped out a dude, but instead she just stared at me while I packaged my herbs and was very short with me. I did let it go, and came back a second time to buy some caramel chews. As soon as we walked in we went to try some of the green juice they have to sample at the front and in less then 2 seconds a younger, masculine looking female came up to us saying "yes, can I help you find something". Again, it wasn't friendly. I immediately let her know that I came to buy caramel chews and she looked surprised and without saying a word, she walked away. We were in line for quite some time while the employees chatted behind the counter until one finally said, "yes, are you ready?". I put the caramel chews on the counter and she said "just this, okay"..."two caramel chews". I paid and left. As the only herbal hair care specialist in the entire country, who directs local clientele to purchase certain herbs, I have told all of my clients and people inquiring online not to support this business. Not sure if it's because we're Hispanic, gay, or perhaps in their mind, we just don't look like who they believe should be there . Regardless, if you're a person of color, you stay away from here.
