This place popped up on my Facebook today and it brought back a hurtful memory. Few years ago my daughter and I had went to check out this place in order to host her Quinceanera. As beautiful as this place is on the outside we were not so welcomed on the inside. It started out okay and the lady showed us around even tried out some some of the foods that they could cater for the party. Then she went on to tell me that they really don't host Quinceaneras at this Center due "TO MANY FAMILY MEMBERS SHOWING UP" now I didn't know how to feel about that comment but I ignored it and kept conversating. I did let her know it was pricey and that we have a set budget that I'll get in contact with her to see if we were still interested as we had other centers to visit as well. As we were getting up from the table my daughter stated she really like this place to the woman that was showing us around and has the nerve to tell my daughter that maybe when she wins the lottery she can come back and book this PLACE. Now for one I was in shock and couldn't say anything at that moment. It was very obvious she was looking down on us coming off to be very racist and disrespectful. I couldn't believe what my ears were hearing let alone what my daughter was experiencing at this moment and feeling. This lady had no knowledge of our background let alone where my family comes from and what kind of money we hold which in reality should be none of her business. I was so upset and really wanted to go off on this lady but realized that I would be stepping down to her level, instead I thanked her for showing us around and left immediately didn't even get her information. I boycott the place and any family member or friend that mentioned that place I told them what had happened to us and advice for them to go somewhere else. I was born and raised around that area so I have a lot of friends and family there. I hope that event planner gets fired or is no longer working there and would advice to the owner of the place to hire someone who has a better understanding of the minorities. It was very disgusting on how the event planner treated me and my daughters there was no reason for it just plain blind and ignorant. My daughter was hurt and went home very emotional that day. In the end things happen for a reason and God was on our side we ended up finding a bigger place that offered more services and options for half the price! I really want to give it zero stars......
