Absolutely beautiful venue and a fantastic team to work with while planning my wedding. Can not wait to host it there! The ceremony area is a dream and their outdoor reception space is perfect. The only thing I would change is the outdated carpeting in the reception area.Will update my review after my wedding!

Five stars is not enough for the Secret Garden Event Center and our coordinator Stepheny! The Secret Garden Event Center was the perfect place to have our wedding. The vendors they work with are top notch! Aside from how pretty and well maintained the venue is. The real hidden gem is their event coordinators! Our coordinator was Stepheny, and she is phenomenal! From our first email, she was extremely attentive. Any question, concern, or hiccups that came up she had an answer.. The closer we got, the more we reached out to finalize details. Without fail Stepheny always got back to us on the next business day. Even after the wedding, she got back to us on her day off! If I called she always made herself available or called back that day! When we had our tasting she was there with us. We had the good fortunate of meeting her husband, who is a chef with Creative Hands Cuisine, he was our chef for that night. We had several attendees who have dietary restrictions, including myself. Both Stepheny and Stephan know the menu inside and out. They were able to help us plan an amazing menu! We could not have had a more perfect wedding day! To be perfectly honest a good portion of that goes into how organized Stepheny and the vendors contracted with The Secret Garden Event Center are. Stepheny handled every little detail. At the end of the night she even grabbed the heels, I had changed out of and got them in a box so they made it home! I can’t even imagine how stressed if I would have been the day of the wedding, if not for Stepheny and the vendors we had! Thankfully I had no stress and that is in large part due to the fact that I knew Stepheny had it handled. She knew our wedding and all the plans inside and out, and took care of it all! Every detail Stepheny has thought of, and will be able to use her knowledge and expertise to make your event as amazing as ours! Creative Hands Cuisine will take care of any and all dietary needs! On top of that the food will be top notch! You can not find a venue with better food! The contracted cake vendor is Inspired Sugar, and the cake is amazing! We could not have asked for more delicious cake. Our guests told us best wedding cake they'd ever had! They even suggested the bakery we got gluten free cakes from, for our guests. Starz Entertainment has an amazing online portal to take you through the entertainment package process. The djs they have are top notch. Stepheny had all the details handled better than anyone else! The being said the dj we had, Brent has bringing a party to life down to a science! Fred's Florist is one of three florist we had the choice to choose from. We felt Renee with Fred's Florist connected best with us. They really added to the beauty to our event! The bouquets, centerpieces, flower girl crowns, corsages, boutonnières, chuppah, and all other decorations they were involved in were gorgeous! The only vendors we had to find outside of their package list we photography/videography and specialty cake. For photography/videography we went with RMW Photography and Videography. Rebecca and her whole team are incredible. We didn't even know they were there, unless they were giving direct instructions for photos. Specialty cake was made by Jewel's Cafe and Bakery! Guests couldn't even tell it was gluten free, or that the other specialty cake was gluten free, dairy free! Our guests are telling us we had the best wedding ever! It was made possible by The Secret Garden Event Center.

Wedding coordinator/creative consultant, at this location was very bad at qualifying people who are interested in the venue. Phrases like “It’s tough when your don’t have daddy’s endless budget” or “now your talking my language” after pushing you in directions you are not interested in really sours the experience of finding a venue for your special day. She had a way of making you feel small rather then simply just communicating the options they offer. Additionally while property it’s self was well up kept and pretty the drive there is not as pleasant. Hard to say if the place is worth the high dollar since we won’t be experiancing it but we certainly don’t feel like we are missing out at all.

This is one of the most beautiful event venues you can find. The staff are pleasant and guest focused. The hors derves are phenomenal and offered are options such as : vegetarian, beef, children's and presented in an 'OH WOW!" style. Brides descend a beautiful staircase into a garden gazebo with guests onlooking via the garden below. White lights, green mature trees, candles, the whole nine. The bridal suite is huge and lots of space for all the bridal party to get ready. The Grooms suite has a few TV's and looks like a gentleman's man cave! The chef and staff treat each other well, the Chef comes out to talk with the bride and guests, and you can see the camaraderie, teamwork, and fun the attitude of the staff have. When it comes time to hitting the dance floor after the wedding you can count on a room large enough to accommodate your party. There is a coffee space, cake table, staff serving your cake and clearing tables for you. Your bartenders will be quick and fun, some have a great accent from the UK... and your bar is straight into an outdoor patio that is filled with a fireplace, flowers, and lots of comfortable chairs. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS PLACE> WOW!

Our wedding at the Secret Garden was an absolute dream day. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Carina Inganamort and our wedding planner Tina. Leading up to the wedding, we were able to have open lines of communication with them about every little question that popped into our heads at all hours of the day, and we would receive a response within the day. The staff at Secret Garden always went above and beyond and made sure we knew how special they wanted our day to be. 

Added perks that may be of note for newly engaged couples: 1 - They have a monthly payment option so you don’t need to pay for the venue upfront (just a deposit to hold your date). 2- This venue looks like a beautiful mission in Southern California, but has Arizona pricing. 3 - The preferred vendors they use are GREAT. Everyone absolutely loved Brent from Starz DJs - he got so many compliments from our guests, and rightfully so! The in house catering from Creative Hands Cuisine was also a huge hit. 4- They were great about working with our budget from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend Secret Garden to any couple looking for a venue that is beautiful with some added touches, but enough of a blank slate to make your own stamp on your special day.

My Fiance and I recently viewed this location for our wedding and we fell in love!Unfortunately, we will not be holding our wedding here! They do not get back with you and the person we dealt with Maggie would say one thing then say another thing. First, she offered us a Friday or Sunday event. Then she went back on her word and said she offered us Friday or Saturday. It worked better for us but we did not want to deal with someone who didn't show promise in what they were offering. There is also the fact that when we told her our budget she couldn't get us out of there quick enough. We were willing to pay more then what we budgeted ourselves for (we're not stupid... of course, we know weddings are expensive...)I contacted her through email several times and I didn't hear anything back... I emailed her asking for a typed up contract because her exact words were, "the sooner you contact me the better I'll remember you." I was willing to overlook that she wasn't good at getting back to people but then I remembered the day we went to view the location she asked me to text her, so I HAD TO GO OUT OF MY WAY and text her Cell phone personally (which made me feel very uncomfortable.) I just feel that is very unprofessional, considering she had a place of business to receive and send phone calls. Not once did Maggie reach out to me and when she finally did 2 days after I texted her she emailed me saying, "your emails got lost, Call me or email me." Was I not doing that in the first place?!! So unless you are looking for someone to give you the runaround and not check on your decision making or a simple callback, then this is the perfect place. I really do consider going anywhere, other than here.

This place popped up on my Facebook today and it brought back a hurtful memory. Few years ago my daughter and I had went to check out this place in order to host her Quinceanera. As beautiful as this place is on the outside we were not so welcomed on the inside. It started out okay and the lady showed us around even tried out some some of the foods that they could cater for the party. Then she went on to tell me that they really don't host Quinceaneras at this Center due "TO MANY FAMILY MEMBERS SHOWING UP" now I didn't know how to feel about that comment but I ignored it and kept conversating. I did let her know it was pricey and that we have a set budget that I'll get in contact with her to see if we were still interested as we had other centers to visit as well. As we were getting up from the table my daughter stated she really like this place to the woman that was showing us around and has the nerve to tell my daughter that maybe when she wins the lottery she can come back and book this PLACE. Now for one I was in shock and couldn't say anything at that moment. It was very obvious she was looking down on us coming off to be very racist and disrespectful. I couldn't believe what my ears were hearing let alone what my daughter was experiencing at this moment and feeling. This lady had no knowledge of our background let alone where my family comes from and what kind of money we hold which in reality should be none of her business. I was so upset and really wanted to go off on this lady but realized that I would be stepping down to her level, instead I thanked her for showing us around and left immediately didn't even get her information. I boycott the place and any family member or friend that mentioned that place I told them what had happened to us and advice for them to go somewhere else. I was born and raised around that area so I have a lot of friends and family there. I hope that event planner gets fired or is no longer working there and would advice to the owner of the place to hire someone who has a better understanding of the minorities. It was very disgusting on how the event planner treated me and my daughters there was no reason for it just plain blind and ignorant. My daughter was hurt and went home very emotional that day. In the end things happen for a reason and God was on our side we ended up finding a bigger place that offered more services and options for half the price! I really want to give it zero stars......

I was invited to a wedding here at Secret Garden for a good friend of mine and I was very surprised at how nice the place was. Layout was great, plants and other decor were looking good and not out of place, and by sundown everything was well lit and patio heaters for warmth during this February night wedding. Big place and and perfect for a wedding ceremony considering the big banquet room and side rooms for changing. Catering company had enough space to maneuver and work quickly. All in all it was a very beautiful, southwestern looking property with plenty of room for a 100+ person event. Highly recommended also due to the renting cost being lower than comparable areas/venues.

The Secret Garden was home to a beautiful wedding reception full of memories we will cherish forever. Our ceremony was held at a church in Chandler but we wanted a venue location for the reception that would have easy access to the airport and hotels as most of our guests were traveling. Our guests stayed at the Arizona Grand Resort and it worked out very well having a private shuttle run between the two places (the service at the AZ Grand was truly five star and there is a discount code for booking with the Secret Garden- highly recommend). The staff at the Secret Garden, particularly Stepheny was amazing. I work very random hours in the ER (in Michigan, with a three hour time difference) and she promptly replied via phone, text and email on nights and weekends. She worked seamlessly with an outside wedding planner we hired and truly seems to love what she does. The venue itself sells the packages for a reason, they deliver them well. There was some opportunity for improved flexibility on certain things outside of those packages, though in the end they truly delivered. The best example of this was the menu tasting, we recommend contacting them early and requesting the entrees/hors d'oeuvres you are interested in tasting (otherwise it is a general menu they prepare). The venue itself is a beautiful setting. We used the large lawn for our cocktail hour complete with a quartet in the gazebo, the wedding burro, lawn games and two bars. Our dinner under the stars was timed perfectly for a sunset seating, complete with a duet plated service delivered beautifully by Chef Doug with creative hands cuisine (those mashed potatoes though!) and live jazz music. Electricity in the garden area has historically been a bit difficult, but Stepheny worked in coordination with our DJ (Greg, Gold Ring Entertainment) and our Jazz Band to make sure enough power was available. Dinner was truly magical. I remember taking a moment with my husband during dinner and looking out at all of the candlelit tables full of our favorite people and thinking how blessed we are. Inspired sugar delivered a beautiful and equally delicious cake to serve as our third course and then we moved inside for dancing! I don’t think we left the dance floor the rest of the night. At one point, I did briefly step out when the bustle on my dress broke. Stepheny was the first person by my side literally with a needle and thread offering to stitch it back together.
