- Part 2 -After I posted this review (Part 1 below) the store manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND to solve the issue. I have never experienced better and more personal customer service. And I mean never! Furthermore, I am extremely happy with all their products that I got (Running shoe, insoles, socks). The soles have worked wonders for my running and their socks are now my favorite ones.I really believe that the previous bad experience described below was really just a really unfortunate chain of events that came down to bad luck.They definitely won me as a customer with their attentiveness and willingness to ensure a great customer experience. Highly recommend!- Part 1 -Worst customer service experience ever. Went to the shop, spent 300$ and signed up for the "VIP" membership. First off, during my time at the shop, the staff would constantly dissapear to the back of the shop for a ridiculous length of time and would so be unreachable in order to help out. Also, they generally seemed to be spaced out. Second, I place an order for a pair of shoes to be delivered to my house, because they did not have it in the shop. More than a week goes by, so I call them to find out that they had delivered it to the wrong address, because the staff member at the shop had taken it down wrong on his tablet. We correct the address over the phone, and they tell me they submitted a request for it to be retrieved and brought to me, promising that if that does not work they will ship me another pair. Another 6 days go by and I have not received anything so I call again. They tell me that last week it seems they forgot to actually put the request throguh to the delivery company. They will do this now, but it will take about 2 weeks, and it may actually not work in which case turns out they cannot ship me another pair, because they're out of stock and are not planning to bring any more!!!! In any case, they double check the address again just to "make sure" and it turns out that last time (over the phone) they had taken down the addrees wrong AGAIN! First time the house number, second time the street number. Finally they ask to check my email address to contact me when they have news, and it turns out they also had that one down with a typo. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. At this point honestly I don't give a s*** how they would get the shoes, but if they want to ever have me as a customer again I'd expect them to go to Brooks (the brand of the shoe) themselves, buy me a pair and frickin deliver it. Also the staff at the shop needs some serious training in basic customer service it seems, and not just using the fancy foot measuring equipment.
