The flower is decent however extremely stemy no matter what strain I bought. I asked the bud tender to snip off some of the stems and I was told management frowned upon it and wouldn't let them. I understand that some stems or normal but these were ridiculous. It happened on three separate visits so it wasn't a fluke it's the quality of their flower. Hey management, It felt a little shady when you're making us purchase the stems when there's a lot of money to be made by selling it the right way. There's way too much quality weed available so I won't be returning.

The Store is bare, with two display cases only so minimal product to choose from. Most their product is overpriced by a $5-15 a gram margin compared to anyone else on commercial *ALL FLOWER $9.00 a gram*. (on street advertised for $7.50). ALL product prices are posted before tax and employees will not tell you prior to the purchase even acknowledging the medical price as the rec price until checkout.. For a mainly recreational market it's disappointing to see a gram of oil (CBD Discovery) for $18.00 *good price* and walk up to the counter and have to pay $21.60 when 1 mile away the same gram is $16.00 rec. out the door. I will have to move on even if they are a few blocks away. I can't justify $9 a gram for C grade quality flower and $20+ a gram of C grade oil in 2019 with this oversaturation of product/flower. I'll be walking down the street to get the same gram of oil for $10-16 and $3.60 starting flower prices.I've recently seen prices dropping but at a rate they can't compete against others with it has a cool atmosphere and their employees are chill but the trade off price wise is far from non.

It's sad honestly, if I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would, I went in tonight (Thursday sepSeptem,6th at about 7:15pmish) and bought 1 gram of mango cookies and as I get home I realized that my 1 gram looked a little shish for being small nugs so I weighed it out and sure enough it was 0.68 not even a full gram which makes sense since the young man that weighed it out weighed the container with the weed making me shorted on my purchase, so I highly recommend either being very watchful of this place when they weigh out your purchase order do as myself is doing and just not even waste your time here and plus there very over priced.

Awesome service as always!!!! I recently went in to purchase a cartridge and to my surprise when I got home I found it was leaking! I tried to return it same day and was initially declined by one of the bud tenders. I went back a couple days later and spoke to Fawn who sees me almost daily and she apologized from the beginning and told me to bring it back and they will see what’s going on. ( I told her then I no longer had the receipt or box, she said no worries we can loook it up if you remember the day and approx time. She was so helpful and told me to come when Jessika was there so she could assist. Fast forward a few days, I went back with the cartridge and saw my other 2 favorites Brittany and Jessika (manager)! I explained to them what happened as well and Jessika and Brittany both apologized and simply switched the cartridge for me!! Even gave me a free battery and charger by Who! This is definitely something I will remember. I was a definite regular before but this sealed the deal! Love Kaya!

Very tiny selection actually. Very stiff enviorment. 12$ a gram any gram. Not good prices at all. Try other shops and you'll realize this place rightfully named a shack throws your mood off. Bought a gram of a couple different strains. Dried out leaf ridden buds that crunched to the touch. Basically to the point of falling apart. Waste of money. Do not recommend. The flowers I got were emtremely hard to smoke nonetheless taste test after I tried my first selection.

I purchased a Open Vape "Reserve" Co2 cartridge about a month ago. I had to exchange the cartridge for a different one three times because it did not work. Initially, I purchased a indica... Returned it, however I was forced to exchange it for a sativa due to an apparent exchange policy. After that cartridge was deemed defective, I attempted to return it for a indica (which was what I chose in the first place). I was then advised by an employee that I had to chose another sativa, even though there were other indica cartridges available.I attempted to exchange the cartridge on 9/16/16, however I was told by a manager that it was not defective. He then proceeded to explain to me that I needed to purchase an Open Vape battery/charger for $35 in order for the oil to burn properly. So, I purchased the new vape pen assuming that it would make the cartridge function properly. Needless to say, the cartridge still doesn't work on any of the 4 different variable voltage levels. I spent $32.50 for the .420 gram Co2 Open Vape "Reserve" cartridge, and $35 for the Open Vape 2.0 variable voltage battery.After all this hassle, I could tell that knowbody at Kaya Shack cares about customer satisfaction or the quality of the products they peddle. I would hope that someone from Kaya Shack would either reimburse me for my losses or exchange the cartridge for one that works!! I seriously doubt Kaya Shack will be in business long. The dispensaries in Portland/Eugene offer superior products, price, and customer service. I just want to be treated with dignity and respect, not like an ignorant fool that doesn't know better.
