Feedback:
The saga is below, CKs dropped us with no warning, when we asked for a meeting to iron out differences... Now they have done harassing phone calls and finally a letter threatening a 92-year old woman for a bill with her insurance company they cannot because of inadequate logs they cannot collect. Imagine that your 92-year old loved one is responsible for keeping the logs of the care givers. We have provided all hard copy to CKs of documents kept in our house. Imagine your loved one hounded for $220 dollars because she did not do what she should do. And my mother-in-law is suffering over what she should have done. Crazy as this is CK's have injected an extreme problem for a 92-year-old women to deal with. Oh, how they care. And we have since contracted In Home which is providing great services. We used Comfort Keepers for in-home care for my 92 year-old mother-in-law. Although we had some very good care givers, the organization failed us. We had frequent no shows. Also, after agreeing not to send different people without prior notice--some days older people feel up to working with a new person, some days it takes to much energy--new people were frequently sent without any notice. When we complained and asked for a meeting, CCs dropped us cold. Phone call. No notice. We are out in the country, and I believe they didn't want us as customers. Fine. But just dropping us without notice was I think unethical.
