Med-Care Delivery-30$ 1/8ths!!!
null | Lynnwood, Washington, 98037Client Review on Med-Care Delivery-30$ 1/8ths!!!
Feedback:
My group health doctor is great--I came here from CA and I've been all over the country and world so my medical records are kind of spread out and they've been treating my autoimmune conditions pretty well and are actually working on switching me to an infusion that might be better for my body.I take two controlled medications, am on chemo and prednisone, take biologics and a host of nerve medications (and tummy meds, and 3 vitamins, and more), I smoke pot and my PC is cool with all of this. I talked to ENT b/c I had to have surgery and one of the nurses gave me a hug when I said every day I'm reminded of my illness b/c I have physical changes and am happy but scared of surgery at the same time.My dermatologist always tells me I can take breaks between injections, the phlebotomists are so nice, the infusion people are awesome, the receptionists are always so kind and even wheeled me up once when I was sick, the pharmacists are great, and once when another patient made an obscene comment to me (older and seemed out of it...not sure if it was mental illness or something) they dealt with it in a very kind and sensitive way. I'm getting my contacts soon and the co-pay isn't that bad, and my PC was totally willing to connect with her favorite PM specialist if my pain got worse. My rheumatologist is one of the best I've ever seen and takes me seriously. My PC handles my xanax for anxiety/nightmares and has never asked me any weird or inappropriate/insensitive questions about why I have nightmares...the only time they mentioned it is when I freaked out about losing my health insurance for school and I'm seeing behavioral health to ask if they can write a letter regarding keeping my care up here and coordinating with the school's health care..I've gotten free samples of (small) medical supplies and everything OTC in the pharmacy is cheap, even certain vitamins are covered under my insurance plan. I can pick up my non controlled meds a week early which is awesome b/c I"m a full time disabled student. The phone appointments are cool and the docs aren't super rushed--a bit rushed, but NOTHING like I've seen elsewhere. Having everything under one roof is amazing and makes the 40 mile trip (I live in b/f nowheresville) totally worth it. My entire doctor's staff is very sweet and during all my treatments they always try to make me feel happier, more comfortable and take my mind off the pain/discomfort/anxiety. My doctors work together and they have been able to get me off of a sleeping med I didn't really need and on a low dose prednisone that has helped me a whole lot as well as recommending vitamins.Yes, it is difficult in some departments to get an appointment which is why I call in advance, but if you've been sick for years and hate urgent care and the ER, you'll call that week or two in advance (and some departments, especially very specific specialties or surgeons there is a long wait...maybe a month or 75 days even). I would highly recommend GH Lynwood (and Capitol Hill and Bellevue, probably in that order). From the reviews here it seems like some people are rushed or they need care they can get immediately for injuries or can't really plan ahead. If you have a chronic illness, cancer, etc, anything that needs at least 1-2 x a month monitoring w/blood work, they will try their best to make your appointments and treatment on the same day and give you very good and compassionate care.In CA (Bay Area) I received Medi-Cal which was horrific, even once getting repeatedly extorted by a doctor increasing my visits and withholding meds and treatment if I didn't pay 3x the normal price, once getting totally blasted for wanting to keep my baby even despite my severe illness, blacklisting me from a pharmacy b/c there was confusion on ONE occasion where my caregiver picked up too much of one med, having me go round and round to 9 different facilities for testing and care, and over all rude and insensitive "care". Even at Kaiser (SF) doctors and pharmacy esp. can be super short, rude and incompetent. So far, GH rocks.
