Monarch dispensary is not the same place it used to be. I’m a medical patient with a neurological disorder. So I really depend on the reliability of my dispensary. I’m sad to say that this is not the case for this place anymore. They have been bought out and taken over by a corporate company from California called medmen. The majority of the old staff is gone and so is the warm friendly vibe, quality and the regular products they used to have. I’ve tried going back a couple times after the take over but they don’t have what I used to get. I’ve even placed orders that went through only to go there and be told that they don’t have what I ordered. I’ve chatted with what’s left of the staff and I guess they also put staff that have been there for years on probation and and are trying to hire new (less knowledgeable) staff so they can pay them less. It’s typical corporate bs but it’s sad to see it happening to my favorite dispensary. It’s also incredibly frustrating to have to find a new reliable one especially since I am actually a medical patient and not just a recreational user. Medmen has come in and ruined something really beautiful. So if you want to support a corporate monster that’s trying to take over the marijuana market in az, has no care about the medical users or the staff it displaces and screws over and has a poor selection and recently raised prices...... Medmen is the place for you. Otherwise RIP monarch dispensary.
